I’m not hoping anything. I didn’t buy the game because it’s FPV that’s it. Its not a protest, I didn’t start a petition and I’m not trying to sway anyone’s opinion to align with my own.

No it isn’t you should have included the rest that states that in Japan fpv doesn’t sell so it’s no surprise a fpv RE didn’t do well.

I’m not taking anything back. My initial comment was in reference to the lack luster sales in Japan which I attributed to the fact that FPV games in general do poorly in Japan. RE 7 is not the exception. I’ve not heard any complaints about the game other than that so to me it’s a logical conclusion.

I never said my preference was more valid nor did I ever insinuate it was more important to anyone but me. I accepted the decision to make the game in the FPV and chose not to buy 7 even though I’ve owned all the others. I’m not bitter in the slightest and have accepted that I may never play another RE game the same…

Having no interest in FPV games does not a boycott make.

Many miss the point that sales of this FPV RE didn’t go well in Japan where it traditionally does well. My assertion is because it’s FPV which in and of itself doesn’t sell well in Japan is probably the catalyst for poor sales in Japan.

Not really. Imagine it’s your favorite movie series and the next installment is only in 3D but you don’t like 3D because it gives you headaches so you skip that one.
