Careful, I hear those sites are teeming with measles these days.

I have a FreeNAS box I just setup. I will say one thing: FreeNAS is dead easy to upgrade hardware on. I replaced the whole motherboard, put in a new CPU and some new sticks of RAM, plugging my SATA card into the new PCIE slot, and holy crap, the whole thing just WORKED.

This list kind of shows why I still haven't gotten too into mobile gaming: If any handheld system released by a major game company had this as their list of best games it would be downright pitiful. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are some good titles in that list, but nothing that's making me feel I really need to

So, when I was a dumb kid in college I bought an AWD Subaru. Thinking I was cool, I picked up my girlfriend and her roommates to go out for the day and drove out into a snowy road with WAY too much confidence. I immediately spun out. I regained control and didn't hit anything, but still, never act like an idiot just

This made me very happy. Thank you.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they don't have another version of OS X for a while. That project, more than anything, just needs to be polished.

In case anyone is curious, the best price in the history for that 3TB drive on Amazon/Newegg is 109.99, so you're saving about $10 on each drive compared to the best price they've had.

Nintendo has spoken about branching into Mobile without really branching into mobile, and if this is what they have in mind for all of that it's a DAMN shame. Seriously, this is possibly the worst way Nintendo could break into mobile gaming. Puzzle & Dragons is basically the opposite of the detailed and fun quality

I've thought about this a lot. I've had people ahead of me in parking lots pass farther away spots to go up the line and wait for someone to free up a spot closer to their destination. Meanwhile, I take the spot they passed, get my kids out of the car, walk up to the place I'm going, and they're just BARELY parking

My amiibo (I purchased Samus) currently sits on my desk at work, doing nothing but stand there looking awesome. That's it! That's all I really plan on doing with them. I still haven't even bought Smash Bros. yet. So yeah, it's just a really expensive tiny little figurine for me, I guess.

Holy crap, a $75 arduino board just to know when the laundry is done?

Apparently Clay, Kentucky is the worst place to live, according to this map.

The Peach one was the most dramatic difference to me. No relief on the details on her dress, less detail around the stone on her chest, thicker fingers on the hand, joint at her waist seems much more apparent. Granted, some of this may be because of the lighting, but not all of it.

Please, please don't ride your bike barefoot. Seriously. Chances are nothing will happen, but if it does... You're going to need more than just a couple sponges to clean up the aftermath.

I got the full set, and I keep looking at them and man... they REALLY need a custom paint job. This is very cool!

Language has been around for thousands of years without any form of standardization other than what naturally occurs with human interaction. And the reality is that it can't be standardized very well beyond that except for in very formal situations, which is perfect. The standards keep the critical, technical, and

I fear that the extent of the story-telling and puzzles that the game will have were all shown in that trailer. It's just a DW game with a heavy dash of Zelda thrown in. Admittedly, that is probably a really good thing, and will improve the gameplay and make things a bit more balanced and interesting, but still... If

Yeah, and a problem with people being dicks. Bad contracts are bad and all, but I really take issue with people who take advantage of situations like this.
