I don't know, that's why I voice my opinion. That's how this sort of thing works. I share a thought, and other people share theirs as well. I've had plenty of people bring up really good points that have helped me understand why the console versions offer certain groups of people value.

The PS3 slim was $100 cheaper than the original model. Then the slim redesign was a bit cheaper still. I'm not saying that this is something that is going to happen here in the next couple years, but it WILL eventually happen. Prices will drop, and demand won't be like it is now even next month.

Really valid point. Definitely the major reason to get a console port.

I agree with you. I wish Minecraft had no need for mods. But the unfortunate thing you realize after you've played for a while is that the game starts to run a bit thin with how much just isn't quite in vanilla to fill the gaps.

Yeah, it's definitely possible. It could be possible on just about any platform, but the question is whether or not it'll happen. With sales going how they are, it probably won't happen. No need with how much success they've had already.

True, but not my point. Every generation of PlayStation has gotten a redesign. So, maybe it will be smaller, maybe it won't. But it'll be cheaper and more power efficient, if it follows the current trend. That's what I want.

True, there is validity to wondering this. I just always have seen the console ports as "Minecraft Lite" and people eventually end up getting the PC version if they really get into it.

Absolutely agree with this. It's often because Mojang doesn't handle the actual ports to other platforms. Pretty sad, but true.

Honestly, I don't know why people bother with any version other than PC one. The PC version has way more features and, if you want to play the game more than a month, you'll need to get mods going.

Why was it you regretted not getting the PS3 earlier?

So, I ordered the Moto G, and that way supposed to have shipped on the 11th and gotten to me by the 13th. Shipments were delayed for everyone, not just Amazon, so does something like this apply?

"...the documents contain no indication that the surveillance ever foiled any terrorist plots, nor is there any clear evidence that terror groups were using the virtual communities to communicate as the intelligence agencies predicted."

You make a fair point, but it's one most people don't really care about. I bought a PS3 to get backwards compatibility and I only used it a handful of times. I'm a gamer, I have all my old consoles, if I really frikkin want to play some PS2 or PS1, I'll hook the old console up and play it. But I don't normally want

I see, this does present a scenario where my rips could be problematic, but ultimately it's a very simple thing to fix. Most platforms I use to watch my videos allow for just about anything to be installed. Just grab a executable binary that runs the file type I want and doesn't deal with any of the DRM shenanigans

You're right, it's pretty small. But I'm just illustrating that, just like they have done with every PlayStation system to date (PS1, PS2, PS3, even PSP), they'll eventually come out with a redesign that is cheaper and more power efficient. Not saying the current iteration is bad, I just don't see any need to get it

Yeah, I have a PC hooked up to my TV with Steam on it as well. Even have the wireless 360 controllers. Works nicely, and the sales on some of the games a pretty incredible.

Getting the PS4 Slim when that comes out. Probably at a discount from the current price of the PS4. Then I'll buy all the $20 greatest hits that are out and enjoy everything I didn't have to pay premium price for.

What do I have to worry about Cinavia for? I'm not sharing this with anybody.

I have a system down that makes it pretty painless for me. The only real cost, in terms of time, is waiting for the disc to arrive at my house (either shipping or getting it from a physical location) and the time to rip it. Everything else involved in the process is automated at this point. Painless and simple. I'd

You make it sound like there are only two options. I don't pirate my content, but I also don't buy it through a source that can pull my ability to watch it. While this may only happen to a small percentage of content, if it happens to something you've purchased it's a pain.
