You make a fair point, but it's one most people don't really care about. I bought a PS3 to get backwards compatibility and I only used it a handful of times. I'm a gamer, I have all my old consoles, if I really frikkin want to play some PS2 or PS1, I'll hook the old console up and play it. But I don't normally want

You're right, it's pretty small. But I'm just illustrating that, just like they have done with every PlayStation system to date (PS1, PS2, PS3, even PSP), they'll eventually come out with a redesign that is cheaper and more power efficient. Not saying the current iteration is bad, I just don't see any need to get it

Yeah, I have a PC hooked up to my TV with Steam on it as well. Even have the wireless 360 controllers. Works nicely, and the sales on some of the games a pretty incredible.

Getting the PS4 Slim when that comes out. Probably at a discount from the current price of the PS4. Then I'll buy all the $20 greatest hits that are out and enjoy everything I didn't have to pay premium price for.

I'm serious. The Wii U has several games that I'd love to get my hands on. And the controller would be ideal for my house, as the TV is almost always being used by someone.

They pointed out some reasons why the Wii U version was the best, but there really isn't going to be that big a difference between the game on the PS3 vs the Wii U in the end. The core part of the game remains the same.

So, really, why not buy a Wii U? I mean, even if you don't get it for Rayman Legends (who would?) there is still quite a bit about it that's to like.

My four-year-old already doesn't accept this. My two-year-old does, but for short periods of time. One that works really well, though, is setting up a couple controllers on Mario Kart for them, they see they're actually doing things, and I just race normally. Works like a charm... but limits me to Mario Kart :P

Lots of people are saying you're wrong, Bobsplosion, for posting your gifs. They say you pollute the comments, and they rage because their iPads cannot handle it. But they are wrong, Bobsplosion. And while I know you will not give into their foolish complaints, I just want you to know you bring more good than they

The problem here is the shading. The sprites in the FF series during the SNES area had very good contrast in their shading. These sprites have almost none, causing them to look a bit washed out.

"Is it just me, or wouldn't it be easier, cheaper, and faster to have these little distribution hubs every 10 miles or so have a front counter where you can go pick it up?"

Haha, YES! Thank you! I just don't understand these people who keep saying people are going to be shooting these things down. Pretty sure shooting at anything in urban areas is a good way to get yourself arrested.

Part of me wonders if we have an issue with it simply because it's not what we remember.

I noticed FallenWyvern mostly answered this, but all of that area wasn't implemented to actually be played in. It's there to provide for depth and surrounding areas when looking at the map, and for long-distance viewing. The people who "hacked" the game to get to those areas were pretty clear that nothing was very

Let me explain. The combat needs all the updates it can get in Morrowind. The UI would benefit from an overhaul. And a lot of that would happen with what I described. Morrowind's clunkiness is mostly due to its engine.

Morrowind was awesome. I played that game a ton. But going back to it after Oblivion and Skyrim has been a bit hard when I've tried it. The interface and combat, mainly, just feels clunky after the newer games.

Your experience is pretty anecdotal, and certainly doesn't determine whether the controls were generally enjoyed or detested by those who used them.

Yeah, that's why I usually grab the Playstation option. Gives me something to play the games that are good on the console side, but my PC is where the real gaming goes down.

So, is Pete Holmes a nice guy outside of his skits? Because I don't think I've seen anything he's been in that hasn't given me the impression he's generally rude, and finds emotional suffering to be wonderfully enjoyable to watch in others. But hey, that's just the impression I've gotten.

So, I don't know that I agree with not getting a 2DS for youngsters just because you can turn the 3D off. I KNOW that my kids will snap a 3DS in half, but the 2DS has a fighting chance.
