You should ask for an additional discount if you aren't on contract. You would be surprised how well you can negotiate when you have the ability to walk away from the company.

That's why the suggestion of the Nexus 4 was given. The phone is sold out, though. The next Nexus phone should be announced soon, and should be pretty affordable, costing about $350, unlocked, no contracts, no subsidization or anything. If you buy a phone like this AND you don't have an active phone contract, you can…
Well, certainly clears several things up. I suppose it is a handy little feature, it's too bad it's not as space-age security as Apple played it up to be, haha.
Hmm, I see. I suppose I haven't looked much into why fingerprints aren't secure. Everything I've read so far has indicated that the fingerprint thing was meant to be nice and secure, securely stored, etc, but now it's just a novelty meant to make it easier to unlock your phone? Feels like there's almost no point in…
So... if you can't get in with TouchID you just use your passcode? So your security then just boils down to your passcode all over again?
So the security ends up funneling down to a passcode anyways. Kind of a bummer, in some ways.
I've been more interested in seeing what happens if someone breaks the button with TouchID enabled. Locked until Apple repair?
Yeah, absolutely. It was worth it just for the netflix/youtube integration. And the fact that you can carry it around so easily (should you decide to) is awesome.
I really feel like chromecast was full of a ton of promise, and it still is, but it has started to drag in terms of progress.
I'm hoping they did it just to be able to bring the methodologies and findings exposure and lead to further research? Should more controlled studies with larger sample sizes have similar findings, it is pretty significant.
ERMAHGERD!
I'm seconding the TMobile thing. When you sign up with them, request a lower price on your contract. You may have to do it directly through tmobile itself. I'm using them and my price right now is crazy low because I renegotiated after my contract ended. I'm paying what you're paying a month, but for 2 lines, 2 GB…
It was actually really, really easy for me. All I did was contact TMobile about my corporate discount and getting an additional discount on my bill and they gave it to me. I do feel it is important to note, though, that I have used TMobile for two contract periods already and my contract just ran up and I'm thinking…
*sagenod*
There is definitely validity to this. Apple products do hold their values well. But I would like to add a couple different perspectives to the conversation.
Oh wow, didn't even think about timezones, and I have a ton of buddies in the UK who would love to do this. Nice point!
I've got it everyone!
If only that were the only problem! It's going to be like this:
I think the idea is neat, but severely hindered by the fact that only one user can access and entire library at any given time.
:) Glad we could come to an agreement
