Sure, these fast chargers tend to screw up batteries. But let's be honest here. There is a HUGE group of people that only use their iPhones for somewhere between 1 - 2 years. That group probably doesn't care if their battery has been charged to crap, because they'll just get a new one anyways.

Why is it this game (Final Fantasy X, that is) never held my interest! I mean, I played pretty far into it, and then one day didn't feel like playing anymore. And that was the END of it! It was like the characters were all just kind of stalling in terms of development and the gameplay wasn't enough to hold my

The first problem is how general the term "designer" is for Garriott. He's rolling a proper Designer, Level Designer, Technical Designer, Writer, and likely a few other positions all into one. The problem with design has been identified and, for several companies, these divisions exist because design is difficult

How are we even keeping track of this thing? o_O

Garriott might have accomplished quite a bit in his career, and may be one of the few game designers to actually become wealthy because of their games... but I just don't see why he is calling people out on the issue of iterative and repetitive development. Just look at his games:

I hope you realize some of us enjoy videogames responsibly. There are even studies that show the benefits of when fathers play games with their kids. Not all of us are sweatpants-wearing bums that just happen to have gotten kids somehow. :P

I don't know much about Andrew Auernheimer's motives behind doing what he did, but to me it seems like a pretty minor thing he did. A pretty petty bit of white collar crime, at the very most, if not a poorly informed move for kicks and giggles. 3.5 years in prison seems a bit steep to me, but perhaps I just don't know

lol, I have no idea what I just watched.

Did you hold it against friends and family when they gave you gifts as well?

Any good ways to create a similar feed in something like Google+? RSS feeds are in everything, which is why I loved using Reader so much, and I really would like to stick with a Google service.

I suppose it all depends on what services you use, but to me the experience has been quite the opposite. As an Android user, going to a new Android phone has been beautifully smooth. I sign in to my google account and I have instant access to all the apps I bought on Play, my contacts sync up, and all my Google

Holy crap, that's pretty impressive. This was more around the price point I was hoping to eventually see. Seems they're shooting for mid 2013 to actually start shipping units, so I'll just assume they'll be all wrapped up and actually delivering end of the year, haha. But this is pretty awesome, I must say.

Wow, that price is way higher than I was anticipating. I suppose it makes sense, as it's not subsidized and using very specialized, tiny little components... but I can't remember the last time I spent $1000 on hardware just to run games. My desktop doesn't even have $1000 worth of hardware in it and I use it for way

Thanks!

The idea of ready-to-go is definitely appealing to me. I'd really only want to be able to print out basic models that I'd either find online or ones that I put together myself.

The lack of standardization is what scares me the most. I have a couple of things I've adopted relatively early and afterwards had remorse on how the community moved a different direction than I ultimately did. Perhaps I'll just have to wait a while longer because of that alone.

Ah, wow, that makes so much more sense. I was just blown away by the thought of a person having 75% of the bones in their head completely replaced! But yeah, thanks for clearing this up!

Wow, haha, didn't expect to see any other comment here, but this is a great point! The voice acting in twelve was pretty awesome and felt much more genuine to the native English speaker I am, especially compared to a lot of the other JRPG localizations I've seen.

I would really like to start looking into 3D printers, but I really have no idea how to even begin looking or what kind of machine I want for my needs. I'd really only be printing out simple, small objects, so I don't need anything too fancy. I just don't want to end up with a machine that, in a year, I feel is

Yeah, League of Legends is a pretty intense one. I played that one pretty habitually for a long time. I still play a match every now and then, but only with friends I know in RL, and only, at the most, a couple times a week.
