I actually just synced the audio from the two up by lining up where the guitar parts start on each track. Absolutely identical. Guitar parts, tempo, timing, percussion, vocals, etc. It felt like I was listening to two takes of a recording being synced up to the same percussion track. Pretty disappointing this happened.

Arranging a song is not a simple process. Jonathan Coulton took a song and basically rewrote it to be something completely different. He redid the vocal arrangements, wrote parts for several instruments not in the original song, and made something completely new, despite being based of of something that already

I don't think that the Final Fantasy series is dying, but it certainly isn't making the right decisions. It needs to get back to its roots, simplify its gameplay a bit, and tell incredible stories that we'll not likely to forget. The problem is that the series has become too complicated for its own good. The balance

Pfft, everyone knows you're supposed to put a Nintendogs sticker over your R4 cart's sticker.

So, I just barely bought a 3DS after not owning a DS. I feel like the expanded game library is good, but surprisingly not as great as I thought it would be. Lots of rubbish to sort through, and I don't get the feeling Wii U will be any different. I'll probably get it when the price drops, a new model is released, and

PS3 version... So tempting... I have purchased several PS3 games lately, though, that I have never played. It's really strange why I just no longer see my PS3 as something worth playing anymore. Consoles just aren't convenient to my situation, I suppose.

I haven't heard of the game "Everybody except for people with some major denial". Was it really that bad?

So... I am trying to figure out exactly what this is all about. It looks like a game that involves adding tons of characters to your party (and apparently characters from past Final Fantasy games, like cloud) and controlling very little of the battles while your characters basically auto-attack targets at will.

Well, for me, I love being able to update my PC. I keep a fund set aside for it, and I've actually become very good at spotting the best value for my long-term usage of my media center/gaming pc.

I would probably run the things fullscreen on my tablet, but I have no plans on getting a windows tablet. The metro interface, despite being usable and relatively intuitive for some people, makes no sense to me on a desktop. I feel like I am wrestling the interface around with my mouse. Hence why with a mouse I don't

Telltale has some pretty bad QA issues. I found several bugs for Back to the Future back in the day, and I sent in each in a very organized email with screenshots, descriptions, and details on how to reproduce them. Their response was basically that they had no plans on addressing the issues at the time, despite one

I have some serious reservations about this project. I don't know that I trust the guys who made Dungeon Siege to make an ARPG anymore. Beyond that, the last game the tried to do a RTS/Action hybrid that I remember is Brutal Legend... and as much as I loved that game, the gameplay had its VERY frustrating moments.

I just don't know that I want something bigger... I mean, the design improvements sound great and all, but I'm not going to play much with 3D on... So I guess the benefit would be the hinge?

So... I scanned over the review of the XL, and is the only benefit that it is bigger?

Those numbers are telling, but they are from a time period when Valve was just getting started in this process. Expect those numbers to grow significantly now.

The interface allows you to easily pause or cancel downloads, and it visualizes your progress really well. It handles errors with file transfers better as well, and it has been much more stable in my experiences so far in network file transfers. I've included a picture that I found online.

A lot of people are talking about the business side of this decision, but I don't think that really answers your question. The answer is that Valve is going to push as hard as it can to try and make all the games it currently has available run on Linux. It's obviously nowhere close, currently, but there are a few

I definitely think they'll count them. They still sold a license, after all.

I installed Windows 8 on an SSD that I had just installed, so I don't know how much the startup time is influenced by that, but it really is incredibly fast. 15 seconds and I'm already in.

So far I have enjoyed the experience I've had with Windows 8 with Start8 installed. The only irritation I have, really, is I am still finding file types that are set to open with Metro programs by default, and when I open them I end up in Metro land for a few seconds. No biggie.
