Fran has by far the worst character and outfit design in FF history. At least Lightning's default outfit in LR has some interesting designs to it, aside from the blatant breasts showcase.

You're judging the genre based on surface elements, instead of the broad, emotive reasons why you play a specific genre or game in the first place.
