I have a friend who is deaf as a result of a bad vaccine reaction as a baby. She has gotten EVERY single vaccine since and made sure her baby was vaccinated for everything and will continue to vaccinate. She says she'd rather have a live child with a disability than a dead child.

But denying care for your kids is no longer protected and it does not absolve you of responsibility if someone dies because of your religion.

But if your religious beliefs cause my child's death you should be accountable.

That's precisely WHY we vaccinate. Those kids who are too young and who contracted the virus did so because of kids who could have been vaccinated but whose parents refused. The kids who should be vaccinated are detracting from the herd immunity that keeps kids who are too young to be vaccinated safe.

Here's the thing, though... all that guy did was increase the number of times he went out on a date. The fact that it took him the better part of 100 "first dates" is indicative of how little what he did actually refined the process.
