So...how many people clamoring for this woman’s blood also probably TOTALLY LOVE/sympathize with Suzanne (Crazy Eyes) from OITNB?

I don’t doubt this possibly wasn’t the first time, but landlords act rashly A LOT. the firm that I work at has done evictions on both sides and landlords are rarely the voice of legal reason.

What is that pile of rocks

So, this gets into what I kinda mean when I say actual diverse people. Many fit and able-bodied people can indeed, do this. However, there are people who cannot live in 6th floor walkups or hack that lifestyle for a variety of reasons. There are neurodivergent people and less able-bodied (if this is the wrong term, I

I actually know what this is - it is the Rebecca Taylor Wisteria Top. However, I believe it is no longer in stock anymore (I found it around when the episode first aired)

I've never met anyone from Idaho! What is Idaho like??

I read an article today about this, written by a female Army member. The headline is a bit incendiary, but there were some very good points:

Congrats! I’m glad you made it through - best of luck

Oooh was it museum development hahaha

I used to live in LA (and am trying to get back, currently in TX). I felt like a failure for the longest time because I couldn’t “make it” and also had trouble “creating my own content/projects” with the ease my friends group could. During a dry spell one of my friends gave me a small dressing-down about how come I

One of my friends was telling me about some event where some super important, super prestigious person was talking. The flyer had the name of the person in regular font, but underneath that in huge font:

I agree - there are many jobs out there paying far less that should be valued, monetarily, a lot more. Sadly, I don’t think that’s going to happen for a long time because I don’t think most people see dignity in every job, and I’m not even going down that psychological jar of worms (why not?! why is a service job

By the way, my brother has the entire Rural Juror song memorized and can bust it out in its entirety, any time, any place. And he does. He definitely does.

NYC is very diverse, that’s true. But I think I look askance at “diversity” because my experiences seeing it is that when companies push for diversity they go out and find the one token person that is somehow the most similar to them/can parrot back the same company line and call it a day. Like beyond this token

Oh man I can’t remember what job/which one of my friends it was, but they were telling me rents in DC and I was like...WHAT and they were like “yeah, and DC isn’t even that great!”

I’m glad you’re still in the game! Are you still in LA? I’m currently trying to move back (was in LA for 3 years, in TX now) but what’s keeping me back is the lack of a job in LA and I’m terrified of being homeless, haha

Oh for sure the know-a-guy helps immensely (and I’m sure “fit” keeps a lot of people out, as well). But say somehow you squeak through all that, there’s still this income barrier (and I know in the grand scheme of things, professional class isn’t wealthy but it is to me, haha). And that seems like an extra...slap?

This is why I try to support those small indie presses whenever I can (especially since I value their work/contribution so much more now) but I feel like my $20 here and there isn’t doing too much, haha

If you don't mind me asking - are you still in that creator industry? This + PhD/MFA/alt-ac is what I'm currently interested in - how many friends/acquaintances were able to stay in these environments and succeed
