LizzHaa, I am a parent and find this really super disgusting. We do everything to facilitate my child being able to make life on his terms when he is older. It is not my job to like his every choice, it is my job to love and support him.

Maybe it's because the image we have is of perfect moms sending the perfect lunch-dads have the same image pressure when it comes to a families food. That said, we pack lunch 5 days a week and it is really only stressful if we forget until the last minute. Seriously, kids will be o.k.
