I personally enjoyed the box art of that time, sure the game was nothing like the box art but the art itself conveyed a message, the rpg box art always got me psyched for an adventure of epic proportions of which I knew I would save the world. It actually seems like a reasonable response, I mean think about it they made the game with no thought to adding in a female character that is player controlled. No, but the Gamestop where I live only gets the preorder copies initialy and then more copies a week later. That's why I preordered and besides, there is a huge fanbase for the original Fable so it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people order it.
