If you think the “boss fights” (more like set pieces) in MGS V are -anything- like the boss fights in every other MGS game - even the spinoffs - then you’re just crazy.

The story is horrible. “I’m already a demon, Kaz. I’ve rescued child soldiers, taught them how to read, raised a pup, blah blah blah.”

Where’s the “demon?” Where’s the challenge to my morals that Kojima promised? Almost all of the story was shown in the trailers, and that’s so spread out it feels pointless.

This was

I would beg to differ. I think the story of MGS is the franchise’s biggest draw. It definitely isn’t for everyone, but for the people they were aiming for, it’s beautiful. With MGSV they just tried to appeal to the biggest demographic possible, and it just turned into a sneakier Assassin’s Creed with even less story,

I love how you immediately equate people who have differing tastes than you as “idiots.”

To be fair, might be limiting, but I married said description, so I’m a-okay, lol. I’d hate having to find a breeding partner again. lelelelelel

Are you serious? Animal breeding because I have specific taste? You’re actually making me a little depressed.

Are physical traits and personal attraction preferences not PC now? Are we acting like having a preference is a bad thing? We should completely ignore what we see?

Hygiene and grooming expectations are completely fine. My wife expects me to keep my neck cleanly shaven, because it looks nice. She expects me to keep certain regions tidy because it allows for a more enjoyable time. It’s only fair I expect her to shave a few places.

I bought mine used. I chose to but the Kinect for voice controls and ir blasting. It’s fantastic being able to turn on my console, TV, sound system, and cable box with one voice command. Then I can control all of it with voice, cell phone, tablet, motion control, or controller. Beautiful.

Sounds like you didn’t calibrate yours properly. It works just fine with voice controls, motion recognition is what it has problems with.

These deals would have been very tempting had I not just picked up a used Xbox One for 200 bucks from a friend, with a two year Best Buy exchange warranty on it still.

That was a good day.

That tends to happen in any industry. Look at cars. We don’t have an innovative unique control method, we have the steering wheel. We don’t have hovercraft, we have tires. We don’t have some water repelling air current, we have windshield wipers.

Hey, at least you muted them instead of begging for the voice chat function to be disabled. I’ve actually seen comments like that concerning voice chat/text chat. Just mute, it’s so easy and effective, lol.

>Sociopathic characters is a flaw in a game

Literally what. They’re characters in fictional media. Calm down.

The GTA series is loved by critics and consumers. You might not like it, and that’s fine, but the series is quite solid. I don’t understand the comparison to Saints Row IV either, seeing how one is basically

“Wii U controller”

“Great”

Good lord.

It also has far less difference than a standard controller than those keyboards do from standard keyboards.

Maybe a console from the past generation. That never happened, new.

My major qualm with this review is the focus on context and education. While those definitely have their place in gaming, they are not things that gaming is reliant on.

At the core, gaming is about having fun. It can be able making a statement, it can be about teaching about subjects, but deep down, purely distilled,

Ace Combat Zero was the high point for that series, followed by 5, followed by 4, then 6. AC6 got so many things wrong. It just felt off. AC5 and Zero were just majestic, just perfect.

That said, AC6 wasn’t Assault Horizon or whatever it was called, so it had that going for it.

I don’t know if I’d say 4 or 5 were the

Except nothing has been “raped” or “erased.” They just aren’t using that continuity any longer. Just like how DC doesn’t use the continuity from the 50s’ for their current comics.

The problem here isn’t with anyone being positive, it has to do with fans who are so emotionally reliant on their interests that when those
