DB9. One of the most beautiful cars of any decade. Sold more than all previous Astons combined and showed Aston had could survive post Ford and indeed flourish.

To the ships! Aaaarghh me hearties!!

OK Lauren – how many Imperial agents died to bring us this information?

Not really - maybe locally in the mid-west of the US. There are plenty of places that are forecast to have far more rain / flooding (like the UK for example where we've had major flooding all this winter, and certainly for the last few years).

Um... That Tron episode aired last week? I think there's an episode this week titled "State of Mind".

Are you trying to kill us?

Revenge. I'm gonna go with revenge.

Perhaps but on the other hand, if you have abundant energy which solves all of your resource issues, and you have managed to colonise a nearby star thus avoiding extinction from your home-world’s star dying, then your drivers for expansion through space sort of disappear.

I agree with some of your points Chip, but I don’t think there is a definite barrier or that if economic scalability is np, that we can’t match the scaling in resource terms (even if exponential) if I understand you correctly.

Reliable in what sense? You could absolutely rely on a TVR to try and kill you – that’s 100% reliability right there, Or a Ferrari to burn to the ground – I’d say 80%. I could also absolutely rely on an Aston Martin to spend a third of its time at the dealer being ‘pampered’, 100%, 100% of the time.

Fair point. But I don't think Bond should be on this list either.

So Die Hard was science fiction or fantasy?

What the... OK I'm crushed. Utterly.

Agree completely. Pretty surprised to see this on the list.

From what I read at the link, the wall of fire is Hawking radiation which at a boundary point just above the event horizon would cause a glow like a lit coal. It's not a literal wall of 'fire' but would still incinerate you just the same.

OK. All I got from the link is that Bob pushed Alice into a black hole then got with Carrie.

You should do one for the whole of Sci Fi / Fantasy. I'm pretty sure Space 1999 would be up there on both counts.

They are a tribute to the Shoggoth...

Are they playing kitten poker?

Also blowjobs. Don't forget the blowjobs.
