Apologies - that came out a bit terse (curse of doing ten things at once). You're right it was Bruce's money, not WE. To pay the counterparties of the options that Bane traded, Bruce had to sell all his stock of WE and so he lost ownership and his director's seat at WE.

Spot on - highly unlikely to collect from the option counterparties - who'd lawyer up and fight it every step, especially as they made out like bandits on the trades.

Fraud (or any illegality ) is not covered under corporate insurance.

I shouldn't. But I did.

I think you are misunderstanding what is going on. The model didn't come first, the observation did. The first observation that the universe's expansion was accelerating came in 1998.

But what if you could show 100% of the effects of discrimination?

Coming from the King of Awesometonia, that's some compliment ;)

I feel the need for a cookie after reading that. Or a time machine. OK both.

I've seen that movie. As long as global warming doesn't melt the Arctic, we should be good.

Emerging markets - China, Brazil and India who have crap roads.

Oh I see. Wasn't it to show the watch was working / not working when hooked up to the wearers brain? - I guess if Orion was killed then the watch would disengage since it governed the flash impulses in the users head.

The watch flash?

I met plenty of aliens at University, thanks.

Orion.

May I ask why? It really is lovely inside and sitting in your room gazing out at the gulf is very relaxing.

I’ll never forget this one. I bought a second hand DB9 – my dream car, saved up for five years, etc. The first service comes due and I hand the car into the dealership (a real dealership!) who are super nice and polite.

Very well said and helped to clarify the movie in my own mind.

I've been lucky enough to have stayed a few times at the Burj Al Arab. It's one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed.

I didn't feel it was slow paced - I had the chance to watch BB and TDK before going to see it so the first hour was great - as you said there are so many call backs to the first two it connects really well. I just think there was so much plot it would've worked better as two 2 hour movies than one 2 and 3/4 hour

I loved the movie, but it just felt, um, light? Bear with me on this one – the movie was 2 hrs and most of a third but I think they could have got more depth if they had split it into two (and maybe the pacing would have been better).
