Suddenly Nuclear War doesn't look so bad

Yes and no doubt the final part of MOOSE was to land in the swimming pool at the Pearl Continental in Acapulco surrounded by beautiful lovelies in bikinis and be handed a fresh, icy Pina Colada by the hotel waiter :)

Now playing

God I would love to do this. Anyhow attached video of Joe Kittinger - Project Excelsior!

Blimey we are zombie saturated – the first thing I thought of when I saw the title was "Munchies!"

I think this is more an experiment on how to face plant like a human.

God I love the Wizard of Earthsea series. Thirty years later I can still recite the poem. Um sorry just had to get that out.

Perfect :)

I had a really strong vision that when Mommy dearest forgave Klaus, Buffy showed up, made some bad joke and staked his ass. I mean seriously? Won’t someone at least stake him a little bit? A splinter perhaps?

Hey no that's cool - it's just the way the post is written makes it seam like MB no longer offer brown. Also I'm not really a convertible fan but an SLS Roadster in that colour combo...

I dunno... I think MB's version is still pretty spectacular

I particularly liked 'main "well" thingy'. Epic post.

Texas Forever! Oh uh.. Mars Forever!

Sounds great! When could possibly go wrong?

Hmm... I wonder if this would act like camouflage in a real zombie apocalypse. Might be worth it to get a good night’s sleep.

I really like this strongly metallic mid green - called Verde Medio Kerpinski by AM.

TARDIS and Burlesque? You win the internets today good sir.

This was just epically cool! Also I once built a bookcase / shoe cupboard which was 42% wood, 5% steel and 53% No Nails so I can attest that everything does indeed look better painted.

Very nice and all, but what about the laydeez jello wrestling eh?

I wish Edison had met Stompy

Again all excellent points - I would only add that the main reason I see that the space program was curtailed in 70's was the oil shock from OPEC. People rarely understand how badly this put back the US and world economy. Take a look at this graph which shows the real and normalised cost of oil over time:
