Blizzard's reputation is taking quite a beating. But as far as I can tell they have an unwavering commitment to quality.

I find that the actual gameplay is fun. There is always the carrot on a stick of loot but playing the game is fun and and of itself.
I have put hours and hours into it. For all of the bitching people do they gloss over the fact that Blizzard knows how to make compelling games. The biggest complaints people have are Internet requirements and endgame —which means they want to keep playing. If it were no fun why would they care!?!
Stares blankly. Blinks.
I am still playing this game even as of last night. It is my go to game in between others.
They themselves say the #1 regret is auction house. I can see them sacrificing it to make game better.
I've recently started playing again and am addicted. Again.
IPad also has some awesome tabletop games. Small World, Settlers of Catan, San Juan and Stone Age all come to mind.
What a huge nonstory. If they're the only retailer for whatever reason then they can charge what they want. No one is twisting anyone's arm to buy..
If a game doesn't take 20 hours to complete I am not even interested in buying it in the first place. I can't stand paying $60 (or $40 used) for a game that I finish in one or two evenings.
My take is....don't make fun of my system specs just because your mom bought you a gaming PC, child.
My takeaway from this story is that this self proclaimed so-called journalist (a gross abuse of the term) is a completely unprofessional idiot.
Where's the realism in that?
The director has already hinted at what the sequels going to have.
I can't with good conscious say that the Pacific Rim movie was good.
It is such a turn off to me that I can see it as a non-starter. I don't want to have to buy special dice to play your RPG...
Plus, he likes fish sticks!
The variation in missions is far, far, far greater now that before. Yes, there are still fetch-X missions, but that is almost ALL there was before.
When they cross the line to pay-for-win that will be the death toll for the game.
You sound like you have dismissed it, which is amusing because the game community has not. It is still FAR AND ABOVE the most popular MMO out there. Even having shed from 12M to 8M players it still towers over any other MMO and still rakes in mountains of cash for Blizzard.
