He literally did not defend systematic racism.
He literally did not defend systematic racism.
He saw cities getting destroyed across the country during BLM protests. The reality is indeed that most, not all, but most damage was done by people who just wanted to break things and not actually protest. So when you see these cities burning down, does that not look like an act of terrorism? Not everyone understands…
I think the BLM = terrorism was spawned from seeing all the businesses and communities get destroyed. The BLM movement struggled at least initially to distinguish the people protesting inequality and the anarchists just there to break shit. And to be fair there definitely was over lap between the groups.
God, you nailed it! It’s as if every vehicle in every class has a minimum transaction price of fifty large! And just TRY ordering one without “accident avoidance, super-duper cameras, leather ash trays and sunroof”! Ain’t happening! The salesman’s answer is “ just take a 7 year loan...”....yeah, like signing up for…
Exactly. Who is even buying these? They must be taking out 12 year loans and will end up upside down in 6 years. I have a decent job and that’s too much for me.
I’m not even here to bitch about the price, though the US auto market is absurdly overpriced and lacking in any basic trim vehicle. But holy shit are people jumping on TommyK154 simply to defend price gouging. Wow, keep licking that corporate boot!
Same. A lot of us can afford this sort of stuff, but man you have to be really committed to spend that much of your income for a vehicle that doesn’t even have wings. Something you’ll be bored with in a couple of years anyway.
I can’t wait for this to come out an have a MRSP of $40,000, $50,000+for a “well equipped” version and watch all the simps shell out all this cash. It’s gotten to the point where I’m not even excited for new car releases I’m just pissed off by the ridiculous MSRPs new cars are selling for these days. And considering…
Will Toyota get over itself and offer infotainment made in the last decade? Is a better question. I’ve driven several of these and I can’t believe they sell cars like this in 2020
If they were priced at a price that real people could actually afford we would give them more credit. Until then they might as well not exist
“For Bilto, who was laid off in March, and his fiancé Sabrina Moller, 28, a private chef, a car seemed a safer option to travel around during the virus outbreak. Most importantly the couple bought the truck to support a new boutique mobile catering venture.”
To quote Jalopnik’s Facebook post on this article:
That Gladiator should be priced 10% lower before incentives. Anyone who bought one in the first 3-6 months they hit dealer lots must put a lot of value in being one of the first owners of an overpriced MSRP mass produced vehicle.
“Nearly two decades ago, for example, $2,002 off of a car was considered a huge incentive”
I concur
All they have to do is price it reasonably. And I mean REASONABLY reasonably, not reasonably compared to a Wrangler. The markup on Wranglers is already ludicrous. I don’t want to call anyone stupid for paying $60,000 aka $1,000+/month for a Wrangler, but if you stop humoring dealerships by paying these absurd prices…
Yup, you can open up any rear sliding window in a pickup truck and wind blows in from behind. Good observation sir.
If you want more five-dollar technical words for this phenomenon: flow detachment causes a rear vacuum, and the effect is massive for a brick-shaped truck at highway speeds. The activity in the picture below is also happening, mirrored upside-down, off the underbody of the truck, creating a nice scoop-type air current…
I’m a pretty liberal guy but this post is just nonsense. You should not be criticizing them or comparing what percentage of their net worth they donated. That’s total BS and it’s attitudes like that which foster ill will.
Hey Mike, how much have you donated?
