I have a 2013 Mini and it has none of these. Also not hard to remember which side after like a week (or month since you never have to fill up a Mini lol)

For those that have never used it. Anything that’s straight up and down, even if it’s in the rear, is terrible since it drips on the paint. The newer 911s have something similar but it’s more slanted so it’s not that bad

Because it might be that the CX-5 is made in Japan thus left is passenger side and the 3 is made elsewhere thus also passenger side. Totally spit balling tho, maybe they just had to squeeze it into their design and that’s where it fit

Car companies put the filler on the passenger side so if you ever run out of gas on the road you don’t have to stand in traffic to refill. I don’t think the filler is switched for countries driving on the wrong side of the road however.

While not the ugliest, I will say it is the most boring hyper car design

The only truly repulsive part was the back (the tail lights are not where you think they are), which they fixed in the new design. Aside from that the rest of it wouldn’t qualified for ugliest of all time
