Let’s not lose perspective, we’re talking about luxury entertainment here. Piracy isn’t your only option, your main option is to just not play the game if you don’t like its price or monetisation. I’m saying this both as a former game developer and as someone who pirated a lot in my past: you’re not entitled to take

The dude could have just made a portal demake and would have been fine. But since he made it to basically run on a N64 (WHY?!) he invited the wrath of one of the WORST game companies around.

Once I saw the buffed-up model I assumed it was the same reason all the Fortnite skins are roughly the same shape: they need to fit identical hitboxes for each player. The cartoon Peter would be twice as easy to hit as anything else.

So what I am guessing is that they couldn’t make fat peter work on the character rig without engine changes and thats expensive to do so they would either have to rig up a new character rig that could potentially have a different hitbox/physics or make something that works within that character rig instead.

P0kemon and the newer Zelda games for me.

For BotW and TotK, they’re just too big and I definitely burned myself out on open-world games from 2005-2015. I just see the big maps with tons of little side quests and I lose motivation.

Aside from that, Pokemon is one of those franchises that I still try to get into for

But do you really want Steam, the group which has the most to gain from highlighting specific games as “worth your money”, to be in charge of doing this? How do you ensure it’s being done evenly and fairly?

No this was Steam, Epic is the other platform

Ha this was EPIC. Glad to see it.  I know when I try to learn a complicated game, like DOTA 2, smurfs absolutely destoyed the new player experience.

Guess we’ll see next year if they learned. Huge events like this are difficult and cant really be changed mid-way, so hopefully they do better next time.

I just don't want him vapin.

No

I have that Build Box in a bookmark for when my kid is a bit older.  It’s a great idea for a gift!

I don’t really know what it’s like because thank god I’m not in that Roblox/Fortnite ecosystem, but one of my friends has it going on with his kid. I don’t remember the specific situation, but the kid wanted to spend some obscene amount of digital currency on something that was clearly not worth it at least from an

I really wish publishers would move back to doing this sorta thing, especially on PC. CDRed has done great physical releases up to this point. The original 2077 PC release had some nice physical stuff (no additional base cost from digital), but even that was slimmed down compared to Witcher’s 2 and 3.

Bah, Sony still sticking it to PC players by holding onto their titles forever.  I don’t blame them, but it certinanly makes me a fan of Xbox instead of Playstation.

We have had CoD on an annual release for longer than that, and during the same period we had 7 Assassin’s Creed games, 5 Far Cry games, none of which really came close to being GoTYs or anything like that, while both games in TLOU series did.

How come we hear so much about OW2, but nothing about way bigger games like World of Tanks, League of Legends, or Valorant?

Real question from someone whose never played OW and has no skin in the game: I understand the sunk cost fallacy but why are any of you still playing a game seemingly no one ever, ever says a single positive thing about? Why are you still putting time into a game that seems so contemptuous of you its audience? That’s

Guess what? You and your company are scalpers too! Fuck you!

This loop of “women showing up in outwardly male dominated areas and financially succeeding which makes men get super fuckin’ butt-hurt” is just literally never going to end, is it? We’re just destined to do this forever, aren’t we?
