Yokai Watch crossover is the best thing they’ve done in years! Minions have always been immersion breaking as are most mounts and the weapons aren’t any weirder than other stuff we’ve gotten. So I’m just confused how this breaks immersion but other things in the ‘game propper’ don’t.

Probably because the thought is that if 150,000 people want the WoW experience but found a free way to have it then by shutting down that free way then you at least have the possibility of migrating them into paying customers. All of them? Nah. But there’s more a possibility of getting paying customers by cutting them…

Well, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I dislike private servers for games like this, and feel that they do harm to the overall franchise. I have absolutely zero issue with Blizzard shutting this down, and I feel the ones running it shouldn’t have released the source code.
