I wouldn’t worry about it. Blizzard’s merch and licensing division is very careful with the way that their characters are represented in licensed products, so even if Good Smile did somehow mess up the characters with different body types they wouldn’t pass Blizzard’s licensor approval process.

The FFXIV OSTs are not actually complete packages. They include the music of the base game with the earlier patch content and then a second release comes later with the remaining music from the latter half of the patch cycle.

ARR is split into A Realm Reborn and Before the Fall. Similarly, Heavensward is split into Heav

Was I the only person that walked away from that legitimately satisfied? It had a good deal of interesting content without being absolutely overwhelming and the pacing was great, obviously taking cues from Nintendo Directs.

Yes. Everything in these demos lines up perfectly with the details we already knew about the prototype from Space World 1997, plus new stuff from datamining the leaked ROM. It’s legit.

It’s a new anime project, most definitely. It was actually announced the other night when Digimon Adventure tri. part 6 hit theaters in Japan.

That was my take. I highly doubt Nintendo is going full-Ubisoft anytime soon.

Sure, but maybe you’re also just holding some sort of grudge here? I mean, seriously, compare them to companies like Capcom (sans Monster Hunter) or Konami at the moment and they look spectacular. The Square Enix of today is a far cry from the Square Enix of 2009-2013. It’s absolutely night and day.

In 2018 we have a

Fair enough, but I meant that you seem to want the type of game that FFD *is* and less FFD specifically.

What you’re asking for is Final Fantasy Dimensions.

More talent isn’t leaving because they’re actually in a great place right now (especially compared to the early 2010s), both financially and creatively.

I think they implied on several occasions that Kimishima was only ever intended to be a semi-temporary stopgap of sorts.

I mean, Microsoft’s got to protect the few IP they actually have..

I can’t wait for the reddit threads a year or two from now bitching about the state of the game and crying to get Brode back so Hearthstone can return to it’s glory days that they also bitched about and said Brode should be fired for.

I can only speak to your second question.

Super Bomberman R. But Yu-Gi-Oh (both the TCG and Duel Links) and DDR both have large and active communities still.

And that’s exactly why I don’t own an Xbox One. What the hell is the point of putting out a console if all your titles end up on PC anyway? As it stands, if you own a Switch, PS4 and PC you’re set.

I understand Microsoft’s rationale here, but putting all of your hard-hitting titles on PC just isn’t the way to sell a

I’m not too sure when the last updates to those games occurred, but I do know that their Classic Games team is currently working on getting those two games (and Diablo 1) to be more easily playable on modern PCs.

It’s worth mentioning that Warcraft 2's online servers still remain running to this day, though.

This is why Blizzard is great—nothing is ever truly abandoned. When other companies have long since moved on from updating their legacy titles, (and in the case of online games, completely shut them down) Blizzard is still there ardently supporting their titles, no matter how old.

I’m not referring to today’s news from IGN, but instead the information that came out of Unreal Fest East last year.

It’ll be based on PS4 for sure, but I’m sure Horii and his team understand that it’ll need to also be enticing to those who’ve already played it. Expect additional features to encourage fans to double

As a huge fan of DQ (and Square Enix in general) that’s followed the franchise (and company) for quite some time now, it was obvious from the get-go that the 3DS version wasn’t going to make the cut. I’m sorry, but it just wasn’t going to happen.

Square Enix has always had a strange aversion to the 3DS outside of

It’s confirmed to be based on the PS4 version (they’re currently struggling to satisfactorily port it to the Switch’s hardware), but that doesn’t mean that the 3DS version can’t be included somehow as a bonus. They could easily implement the 16-bit mode—at the very least.
