Wow, another human being that actually remembers Battle Fantasia.

Quite possibly. Pokémon movies, while still popular, have been doing consistently worse at the Japanese box office. The Pokémon Company, OLM, etc. had to do something to reinvigorate the movie franchise and draw a lot of buzz for the 20th installment. Because of that, it’s not hard to see why they settled on this

His backpack is different as well. The idea is that this is a reboot and a separate continuity from the main anime, so they’ve changed a few things to help get that across.

You take that maybe back. Bomberman is a fucking gift.

Well, Good Smile did announce figma Genji recently.

I too think that’s there’s a huge social component involved. People I’ve met that spend massive amounts of money on F2P games tend to be braggarts that think they have something to prove to their peers. Many are nice people, but I think they use the excessive spending to fill voids and the game is ultimately an outlet

This is an excellent stance for sure, but it’s not quite how I view the situation.

I can definitely respect that line of thought; there’s absolutely nothing wrong with putting money into something you enjoy– and your spending is still within what I would consider moderate, anyway. It’s just the extremely high amounts people like dbzispimpin have spent that are concerning to me. I can’t help but feel

I think Record Keeper will remain so long as people continue to support it (which they are), but the main strike against it is that it is a DeNA published game. Brave Exvius and Mobius are definitely Square Enix’s golden calves on mobile because they’re in complete control of them.

I’m kind of in the same boat. I’ll spend (tons) of money on the Blizzard stable of games because of the security of the investment and the constant flows of content. I’ve probably spent the most on WoW over the years (collectors editions of expansions, subs, cash shop, the TCG, etc.), with Hearthstone in a distant

I really hate to be that guy, but you know F2P licensed games don’t tend to last, right? I know Dokkan Battle is doing well right now, and it’s your money and all (whatever makes you happy), but I would be absolutely crushed to put that much money into a game only to lose it when Bandai Namco decides to start pushing

It’s too late for that. There’s no going back.

That’s actually not true. In Japan, Cyber Sleuth and Next Order were released nearly a full year apart, with Cyber Sleuth launching March 2015 and Next Order in February 2016.

And people still support this company why..?

It baffles me to see how frequently people still flock to GameStop for new games on release when retailers like Best Buy and Amazon are now infinitely better options. In a lot of cases GameStop isn’t even getting unique pre-order bonuses anymore.

I’ve been crossing my fingers for Valeera ever since the game launched. I’m overjoyed. She absolutely *is* the best choice for Rogue.

We were all that cynical, I think.

From what we’ve seen so far, it’s definitely a love letter to Hudson Soft’s work. The development team put in a lot of effort and I’ll absolutely be voicing my approval by picking it up on launch day.

People are quick to forget (or complete ignorant of) the fact that DeNA is still handling the backbone of Nintendo’s online services now. That deal didn’t just disappear.

It’s a plus in that sense. Kids don’t need access to features like voice chat.

That was probably even a large factor in the decision.

Hey man, no disrespecting Bomberman.

We’ve seen the box. No Hudson logo, unfortunately.

Just Konami’s logo and the new 33rd Anniversary emblem.
