I bought a pentium 200 with mmx. I can't remember how much ram it came with. But it did have a 3.2gb hd. I paid somewhere around 1900 bucks for it. I bought it right out of high school. Later on when Quake 2 dropped, I decided I needed to get a video card for it, and I bought the Diamond Monster 1 card for 390…

You can say that type of thing about any car maker and one of their limited models though. For example I wouldn't want to pay top dollar for a 93 Cobra 'R' with low miles. Its just a mustang with some factory upgrades (brakes, shocks, oil cooler 17" wheels). I am not a Ford guy though.

This benchmark is fun to run and does a great job of testing hardware with current technology.

Agreed, nothing is worse than being chased by a couple of zombies, only to have your player decide to stop for 5 seconds to 'think about' climbing a ladder!

And even this is a moot point, since consoles certainly aren't playing the games anywhere near max settings!

Look at the Transformers. Asshole Bay had 'Devastator' as some random tank transformer, probably because he heard the name…
