I think the main thing was lack of dedicated servers. COD4 is still regarded by many as the last great COD. Black Ops has dedicated servers, but its a Treyarch game not an Infinity Ward game.

I find this fascinating. Robert Bowling could have avoided probably 10's of 1000's of death threats if he just listened to the people buying his product.

Same! I have the SGS with ICS on it and its decent.. The frame is cracked from dropping it a couple of times though. Definitely exciting times though.

I am left handed, and I have 2 left handed DeathAdders. I fps with my mouse on the left. For years I have just used a regular mouse.. with the left click unchanged. I would 'fire' with my middle finger, and ADS / zoom with my index. I decided one day to change that and I remapped the buttons.

A lot of Android developers don't want to work on the ipad. I personally don't want to pay Apple a substantial fee ( I think its 150 bucks?) to work in a PITA language, only to have someone review my app and maybe deem it 'ok' for sale.

I agree with the smoothness thing. It seems that Apple devices in general have this. Whereas with Android devices, the user can experience this 'hitching' phenomenon which to me makes it less enjoyable. No doubt the new screen for the ipad is a solid point in its favour.
