Doom 2 was the turning point for games in my life. I then moved on to Quake and then ultimately Quake 2. I spent more hours in deathmatch Quake 2 I think than any other game. idSoftware was the company for my pc gaming. Now with Rage and Carmack's comments, I can see its over.

Well since graphics are client side, I don't see how they would affect the multiplayer aspect. But I guess time will tell.

Because the faces in Multiplayer look NOTHING like that.

I think it does, and it should.. Its like an artist's personal drawing style.. No 2 artists will have the same look..

I was able to change my graphics and turn features on and off. You have to set them in the game, then exit it completely and reload it. Sucks for sure, but its the beta. Not the end product.
