I think Sleepy Hollow (coming out last season) deserves some kudos for having three of the five major characters on the show portrayed by black actors/actresses despite the fact that race is not significant for any of their roles.

Better than sending Stinger missiles, right?

This 1949 Willys Pickup is currently on offer at $2,500 in Wisconsin. The seller's hopeful it will get another lease on life. [Craigslist, H/T HondasFordsVolvos]

If only there was some compact, easily concealable, easy to use, high stopping power, defensive tool that people could use for safety....

It's a monitor, not a stripper...

Well we're 20 roof tiles short, there'll be no orphanage, I'll tell the children.

What we really need is a Macan/Evoque joint venture. Call it Macaque. "I drive a Porsche and no, Macaque is not too small."

Not only is it perfectly doable without the UAW, it's doable without the involvement of any established union. Single company unions do exist, nothing stopping the workers there from using the works council as a basis for one. Or they could just join any union that will take them - Machinists; Operating Engineers;

I agree with your conclusion, but there actually could be a Works Council set up without the UAW. They certainly aren't the only labor organization in North America, and there is no reason why the UAW has to be the one that VW workers choose to represent them. Heck, they could design their own in Chattanooga, more

Germans can have national pride too but that doesn't mean they should start putting swastika stickers on their cars. That flag, whether you like it or not, is a symbol of a horrific past for a large chunk of our population.

"Factory employees Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong roll a fatty blunt and test just how "high" this airplane can get."

Apparently I've been sleeping under a rock, but when did a stretched G8 fetch $43k for a base model? No wonder they don't know how to market it. Start with a $8k rebate and a free fire extinguisher.

I'd be pissed off, too, if the actual company employing the workers was fine with unionization but local right-wing politicians constantly threw out threats of loss of work to influence the election.

Call me when I real man is plastered on my truck.

I have nothing to add here. Someone post that slow-clap gif because I'm not a real commenter. ;)
