I’ve bought some manga in French because I couldn’t find German or English versions and compared to Japanese French was still the easier option.

I know this isn’t a big deal for a lot of people, but I’d love to hear why they don’t feel the need to implement a trophy/achievement system when Sony and Microsoft have for two generations now.

Well, no—I’ve found the Battlelog, Steam and PlayStation Android apps all useful on occasion. Being required to use an app on your phone for basic chat functions on an unrelated console is imbecilic almost beyond reckoning, however.
