I am still not convinced that Niantic forced Pokevision to shut down with legal measurements. If the operators of the Pokevision site would have recieved a cease and desist letter, I would have expected that the entire site would be gone. Instead just the map part is deactivated, but the site itself is still there.

I doubt that the traffic generated by Pokevision alone would have been a problem. The bigger issue is the traffic that is generated by all different scanners and bots combined.
