It depends on the signals, I’d say. Remember many of our signals as humans are nonverbal, and many of those nonverbal cue are very slight, to the point that some people might just not notice them. I’m sure many of the “I didn’t see the signals” excuses are just cop-outs, but I don’t think we should outright dismiss

I think some people in that thread confuse rape with sexual assault. I’m not sure the woman in question formally accused him of rape, perhaps she just told him he had raped her? Not all cases of rape/sexual assault are reported, after all. In some cases the victim chooses not to for whatever reason (other than fear.)

If I was your orthodontist and you came to me with such a case (and that won’t happen seeing I’m nowhere near the healthcare business) I’d laugh right in front of you when you told me you snapped your retainer drooling at a guy. Heck, I’d even consider repairing the retainer for free if it’s not ridiculously costly

The thing is, you don’t understand. When you assume that all perpetrators of a crime (independent of crime) are monsters who should be locked up or killed without so much as an attempt to understand what might lead somebody to commit a crime, you’re just pushing a vicious circle. If once you commit a crime you’re

There’ll be new DLC releasing through this year, so you might wanna hold off on replaying it unless you don’t mind going at it a third time later on to get the full thing.

There’s more than just that. One change you mention rubbed me off the wrong way - I just finished reading the book (and loved it all the way,) and Martin isn’t painted as a prospective villain at all. Yes, he’s an asshole, but he’s not a magician or too awkward or a loner. There are no red flags, in fact, considering

The remaster team that worked on SC first started working on WC/WC2, but the project lead said that after trying the games they found out they’re not really a lot of fun nowadays thanks to their primitive design, so they went for SC instead. It was stated here:

But the phone number making the call should have been recorded. And the owner of the line should be charged with the swatting, plain and simple. If they weren’t, then they better tell on whoever did it and be more damn careful who they lend their phone to.

This is what happens when you flood the market, tho. People (and the market itself) lose interest in a brand when it releases new entries every year and each new one is worse than the one before.

Yes, perhaps this game would’ve received rave reviews and lots of exposure had it not been called Assassins Creed, but that

This is the first time I ever hear of a split-plate charge on a restaurant and I’m positively horrified at the idea.

Then again, I’m from a country where waiters are actually paid a wage, as opposed to left at the mercy of the diners, and all countries I’ve traveled to are also like that - some of them down to the

I believe they would also rather you ordered the lobster and a bottle of champagne over the cheese sandwich since that will also net them more money. That doesn’t mean ordering a cheese sandwich is tacky, nor does that make people who order them bad diners.

I like the response because the CEO either doesn’t understand why he was banned or doesn’t care. This is the head of a company somehow.

Yet one could say SW was revolutionary simply because there were no games like it on PC prior. On other consoles? Sure, there were the dozens of Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons/Rune Factory games, but on PC? Nope. It’s partly what made it so successful, farming sims as a genre had so far been neglected on PC.

This is easily the best feature they could have added to this game. For me, Radiant Historia had a very interesting storyline and great setting, but was marred by a repetitive, endless, trash combat system. I could never finish it simply because going from here to there to see if anything had changed always implied

I think the issue with that way of thinking is that if everyone starts doing it, the market will shrink. Sure right now that there are (relatively) few games as a service it works, but what happens if everyone tries to do just that? Gamers have only so much money, so that’ll mean way fewer sales for many games,

I always thought the reason was far simpler, although along the same lines as this: When we’re younger there’s a lot we haven’t experienced. Every new song is effectively a new experience for us, be it because of the rhythm, the vocal style, the lyrics...

As we grow, that changes. We listen more, we get to know more,

I’m still hopeful that they’ll make Lorca more than just a one-dimensional Mirror Universe villain, because Lorca is charming and clever enough to be so much better.

And yes if people want to skip the leveling process and go to endgame, they can just buy a boost.

This actually makes me feel better about the security of the switch as a person who has no interest in hacking it it’s comforting to know that it isn’t an easy process for someone to take control of my switch, not that there is much of value on a switch compared to say a cellphone or laptop.

The Nintendo Switch has been a difficult nut to crack for hackers
