That graphic reminds me of a preschool “one of these things is not like the other” exercise. Even a preschooler could get that answer right. I’m sure it’s my bias, but She looks quite evil in that photo. And nothing says your faith won’t inform your work like wearing a Catholic collar.

This is straw man horseshit.

I was staunchly opposed to the Iraq War at nine. My parents were not. I understand on an intellectual level that other young people just typically fall in line with what their parents think and don’t have well-developed political beliefs of their own. But I also don’t get it. My parents’ beliefs certainly shaped and

Yes; excuse me. The blind spot must be mine.

i think we’re all forgetting how very relaxed most people were about politics until 5 years ago.

“For me, when Donald Trump got elected that just changed everything. Because this is an impeached president who’s broken many laws and has refused to condemn white supremacy, and it feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand,” she said. “I don’t want to support a president who supports white supremacists.”

Not just once, either. And Sarah Palin was not a dealbreaker for her.

Does that mean she voted against Barack Obama? Fuck her.

What’s missing from this article is that they’ve been divorced for 12 years. They divorced in 2008, reunited for the sake of the kids in 2015/2016 and were living together in his house but not married. Given that the house was purchased by him when they weren’t married, there’s no reason she should have a right to it.

The more people realize that, the worse off we'll all be. It is true though

It really has hit me in 2020 that if you don’t care what anyone thinks about you, you can get away with just about anything.

I don’t think Megan Reynolds actually knows what “debacle” means, because you are right in this context it is a very odd word to choose.

Now playing

It got us this Mr. Show parody treatment, so all is forgiven:

“Sometimes, you know, you try and do a good deed and it’s just not the right good deed,” she says with a smile and a shrug. “I had nothing but good intentions and it came from the best place”

You really took it out of context. You don’t have to like it, but you should tell the whole bit and not just the first part of each one. The entire point of the first bit was that Black people have gone through horrific, horrific abuse and trauma for 400+ years and they get the shortest and coldest month.

Nah I liked the part where White people are faux being outraged at those issues as an excuse to find issue with what he was saying about White people.

Or, y’know, Hollywood could expand its embarrassingly basic supply of go-to historic women and retire the Cleopatras, Marie Antoinettes, and Queen Elizabeths (I & II) once and for all

There are no shortage of fascinating, badass women throughout history, from all over the world, but sure, break out the eyeliner and

Comparing bill burr to andrew dice clay is lazy as hell

Black women have endured the jokes of comedians coming at us with offensive stereotypes for YEARS-and snl has been a part of that. The white women going off on Twitter about these accurate observations disguised as jokes are the same ones that would happily laugh at us being called ‘Shaniqua’.

Hit dogs holler ! White women are right up there with White men. WW have weaponize their femininity to oppress and aid White men in the exploitation, and harm of all non-whites in this country particularly black people. All while claiming solidarity with marginalized groups and centering themselves in our movements.
