There are a lot of audio podcasts of people playing role-playing games out there. “Actual play” is a good search term for that sort of thing. My favorite actual play podcast, The Gutter Skypes (http://www.anim5.com/IDDFOS/TGS/), is actually doing D&D right now, but they play a lot of different games.

I always liked the Legion of Superheroes’ “nass” for “shit” and “sprock” for “fuck,” but I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority there.

Not only is it not the least bit shocking that he’s leaving after the same number of seasons as the last two Doctors, it’s a little early to be doing the retrospective, isn’t it?

I would argue that with the possible exception of Monica Rambeau all the heroes of Nextwave were parodies of their previous portrayals.

Was it just me, or was the reporter looking at Thea rather . . . lustfully as Thea was threatening her at the end?

Wow. I was still a few years from corporeal existence in 1968, let alone living in Albuquerque, but that’s just down the street from my house.

And it’s all available online at www.atomic-robo.com.

My childhood memories argue for #5 being a little truer than stated here. There was a pre-release Boba Fett figure you could only get by mailing in proofs of purchase from other figures. I could swear that mine included a launchable rocket, which promptly got lost in either my carpet or my dog’s stomach and was MIA

Tilda Swinton‘s Ancient One appears to be female.

Kind of. Last I read Osborn was alive, but appeared to be cured of Goblin psychosis. Still an evil bastard, but now a *sane* evil bastard with a new face who the world thinks is dead.

If he actually signed on to the game as “Vinny” at any point, I’m convinced it was just a bot. I can easily see a developer setting up a fourth-wall breaking AI as people were abandoning the game.

Now if he never used the name “Vinny” when creating his account for the game, it’s either a set-up or a live person who

How could you do this retrospective with nary a mention of Lobo the Duck? I mean, yes it was basically one gag, but . . . Lobo the &@^%! Duck!!!

Is that Deadpool vs. Murdoc Niccals of Gorillaz?

Two questions: Who are half those people, and who in their right mind interviews Deadpool and Machine Man to look after their f$%&*ing kids?!?!?

Dominic from the tabletop RPG In Nomine (http://www.sjgames.com/innomine/) is a tremendous asshole. It’s left for the GM to decide whether his assholishness is the only thing holding angelkind back from the second Fall, the direct cause of the imminent second Fall, or something in between.

Kind of like Geth in body armor, yeah. And they don’t have the whole “flashlights for heads” thing going on.

Tim Allen doing Niven? The mind boggles! I can actually see him doing a passable Pak Protector.

And then there’s TVTtropes’ take on it (Warning: Not responsible for productivity lost due to following links on TVTropes.)

It’s clearly another Jay/Hunter in the mask; that was obvious last week. My only question is are we dealing with two sets of twins (whether actual twins or timeline-looping duplicates), one of whom somehow jumped Earths early, or four separate Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomons from four different Earths. Given that Barry’s

I’m curious if he statistically tested the dice. I’d like to know how well they roll.
