It's pretty naive to think he'd be shocked by a little homosexuality.
I'm mildly surprised they aren't branding this for the Dragonlance line. I wonder if it's because Dragonlance doesn't have the name recognition any more or because they want to bolster D&D's brand.
I'm not as annoyed by Cisco as most people (i.e., Rob) seem to be, but him coming up with all the names is starting to grate. I did like that Snart seemed vaguely amused by it; I can see him actually using the name himself the next time he shows up, and maybe he'll start naming his rogues as he collects them.
Wells discovers not only has Cisco created two powerful weapons, apparently without Wells' approval, but lost them. It's of course a pair of cold and heat guns
The most heart-rending moment of the Fitzsimmons thing was Simmons saying to Mac, "Why do you think I left?" She knows she's damaging Fitz just by being there.
Who looks happy after six hours of portrait day?
But the point of the "Doctor leaving everyone else to die" sequence isn't really about plausibility, it's intended to ratchet up the tension.
And where's Disruptive Influence this week?
Which actually kind of helps make their case, really. By infringing on Lucasfilm's trademark, Empire is potentially more associated with Lucasfilm than the product actually associated with Lucasfilm.
Twelve thousand tons???? That has to be a typo.
I'm wondering if the ultimate theme of the season will be the need for a successor to the Doctor, or for more than one person doing what the Doctor does. Which almost makes sense of one initially silly idea I've seen on the 'Net: that Missy is somehow the Doctor.
I seem to be about the only person who doesn't have a problem with either Cisco or Iris. Caitlin bugs me more, with her three facial expressions, one of them full-on Kathy Ireland "dull surprise."
Why bring miles into it? 1 parsec is 3.26163 light-years or about 1,191 1/4 light-days. That makes 12 parsecs 14,295 light-days. Divide that by 1500 and you get 9.53 days. Assuming you pay for a full day even if you only travel part of it, that's 10 days or 170,000 credits.
The obvious candidate for "Gus"' identity is Perkins
She suddenly pretends that it was Danny's idea all along that she stop traveling with the Doctor, and now Danny's changed his mind — and I hope we get to see how Danny reacts when he learns that she's hung him out to dry like that.
You know, I was glad to give him the clicks in order to share my opinion, but I can't figure out a way to comment so that people other than my friends will see the comment!
A red-haired female associated with Batman? There's a far more obvious choice than a gender-swapped Robin.
I want to put his overall performance in a sweater vest and have it give a lecture on biting satire at NYU.
I really hope that Sarah's (near?) death leads to more Nyssa. I was a little peeved that she wasn't even mentioned.
