I agree strongly that episode 2 is the worst of them all, but i think I do prefer Episode 7 to Episode 6, just every so slightly. If we are forced to rank them that is, otherwise I would say they are both equally good with some strengths and some weaknesses.

I think the sweet spot is the GT Premium, no performance pack, no recaros. If you aren’t going to be taking the car to the track, the performance pack will make it a busier ride, with having to shift way too soon, reduced MPG on highway trips, and the recaros are just not as comfortable to sit in as the standard, and

Key plot point to American Gods.

Car seats, children, short people will all ‘fit’ in the back. I think if you’re taller than 5’6” [167cm] then you’re going to have a problem with the roofline/leg room. I think my wife and her mom would just barely fit back there in a pinch, but it wouldn’t be easy to get in/and out of.

I disagree on the $2500 PP being ‘required’. If you never plan on tracking the car, and this is basically a big, fast, comfortable GT car for you and your significant other, then the standard diff and softer suspension is more desireable. Plus you get the added benefit of decent highway MPG. I’ve seen people averaging

Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say ‘Worker at VW plant killed by heavy machinery?’ It’s not as though the robot was angry at that human and decided to kill it. This is more like ‘man run over by forklift’ than the ‘robot kills human’ headline that’s being used.

Because of the functional utility?

You don’t have concerns about the long term durability of the drivetrain?

To be fair I ended up excluding the M235i and the Fiesta ST for reasons. Fiesta ST just too small for me and M235i just not a good enough value to this young man of the jewish upbringing. The GTI was disappointing because I don’t care for the seats in the SE version and I HATE the sunroof that doesn’t have an opaque

It’s just that I’m in the market for a new car Soon(tm) and I’ve seriously looked at everything from a Fiesta ST to an M235i. I can’t imagine I’m a completely unusual buyer. I just value lots of different things about cars, to varying levels.

For example I love hatchbacks, so the Fiesta/Focus/Golf all really appeal to

It’s a fair point, but I think the Focus RS and the Mustang both being ‘performance cars’ makes the comparison more valid.

But, I guess it’s more about what order of importance you place on the various categories that the cars excel at. If performance is at the top of your list, and the functionality of the car isn’t

Because similar price?

The engine is just a longer stroke version of the 2.0? I’m asking, because I don’t know. However it will also have a bigger turbo, and bigger intercooler, and lots of beefier bits to handle the extra torque and HP. It must be heavier overall.

The Focus is no doubt more practical, and anyone claiming otherwise is objectively wrong.

Do we know anything about the weight of this car? The bigger engine and AWD system will certainly make it heavier than the ST, right? Along with that, the parasitic drain of the AWD system, and I wonder if this won’t be that much more fun than the Focus ST is? And isn’t the Fiesta ST more fun than the Focus ST? And

Side by side the new Camaro still isn’t better looking than the Mustang. BUT it is probably a better driving car, with a better performing engine. It’s going to be a tough decision next year.

What’s up SoCal buddy.

This card is so hard to justify if your main interest is the performance of the car though. You could get a Mustang GT for $33k that will have 100+ more HP and RWD. Seems like you end up paying A LOT for the 5 door utility.

RS3 with the 5 cyl engine much better choice than a Golf R with a tuned ECU IMO.
