Oregon just released these Wine Country plates which you can also get personalized… but don't make any references to alcoholic beverages, because that's not allowed.

Max points for creativity, I'll admit to a couple LOLs and confess that I'm drafting this into an email with odd margins and Magenta Comic Sans text that's sure to be the talk of the retirement community… but I would have like to seen the extra effort of altering the number of "Likes" "Tweets" and "Comments" to really…
It's been 6 years since ALMS raced in Porltand, and I only remember one thing from that weekend. Watching the Formula Drift exhibition from the always sparsely populated grandstands at PIR. A few rows behind us was a teenage girl on the phone with her mom describing the scene in every detail at the requisite volume…
I use autohotkey for a few unicode symbols that are hard to dig up otherwise:
Perfect! I was just reading over at [lifehacker.com] about how I should shorten my commute by 20 minutes to improve my health. Trading up my daily driver to a 911 GT3 RS appears to be the key to a long and healthy life.
"70% of all Porsches ever built are still on the road."
When I was in college we jacked a buddies car up and set it on jack stands so the wheels were just barely off the ground… Oh how we laughed when he tried to drive away.
When I'm out on a ride I tend to use a lot of hand signals… especially around inattentive drivers who have failed to see me, I have personalized hand signals just for them.
Agreed.
We could stop adorning cars in bikini clad barbie bimbos for starters. Stop reminding females of their body image issues and focus on the friends and camaraderie. A little more relational and a little less wild-eyed lust would make the whole hobby seem more accessible.
I feel like if you included the photo of Comic Book Guy with your comment it would really drive my point home. It's all about perspective. For the average car blog reader the difference is plain to see. But if you don't know/care then everyone who chimes in to correct the detail, which was insignificant to you in…
You know when someone makes an analogy to Storm Troopers and Light Sabers and the stereotypical basement dweller pipes up in their unintentional Comic Book Guy voice with "Uh, excuse me, Storm Troopers used Blasters not Light Sabers. You're clearly thinking of Jedi Knights"… That's how we appear to DM's readership…
True, I don't expect PDX will make the list. With roads like Germantown, Skyline, and Hwy 219 Portland is actually a pretty nice place to own a car… once you get out of downtown. Just seemed like a good opportunity to poke fun at PDX.
You can get anywhere in Portland with mass transport, hours of spare time, a good set of walking shoes, and an extra pair of socks.
*True Story:
The best part of Seattle, for me, is the right hand lane that can double as a row of parking spaces. It's a complete mystery as to when the lane converts from traffic to parking lot (no signs, no lines, no nuthin') but when it does confusion ensues.
My drivers-ed. car was a Chevy Corsica… I can honestly say it's much better suited for use as a trash receptacle.
Behold the thrifty 850 owner who "don't need no stinking trailer".

Had the opportunity to watch this in the OmniMAX theater at OMSI in Portland last Wednesday. The OSU team was on hand with the combustion car to show off and answer questions along with the filmmaker.
