And yet cars parking along the streets in downtown San Francisco is the biggest environmental issue of the day.

I can only imagine what sort of police entrapment scheme or farm foreclosure he was trying to avoid with this stunt, but he'll never make it as a Duke boy.
One hundred thousand years ago, a caveman was out hunting in the plains, when he slipped and fell into a crevasse, where he was frozen solid. In 1988, he was discovered by scientists and was thawed out. He then attended law school and became...The Unfrozen Cave Man Lawyer!
@Peter S.: Metallic Pea you can get, it's the Antarctic Blue Sports Wagon with Rally Fun Pack that's hard to find.
@skaycog - Just do it!: Knowledge isn't what get's you a star. It used to be based on popularity. But now it's making good quality comments. Quality comments are simply: well articulated, on topic or adding to the discussion, witty, not offensive, not trollish, not spammish and not repeats of what's already been…
@Ben Wojdyla: SolidWorks and Inventor both have built in FEA these days... granted they're costly add-ins, but you don't have to shell out for I-DEAS or CATIA to get built in FEA.
@MrHowser: I've notice the same thing about comment history in peoples profiles. It's annoying, but they tweak stuff all the time. It'll come back eventually, along with the heart click visability.
@pj134: Actually I'll be ditching the AWD, the X1/9 being a mid-engined RWD setup. So I'll be mating it up to a Sentra SE-R 5-speed w/limited slip and shoe-horning the whole mess in behind the seats. The SR20DET should be a pretty tight fit to begin with, I don't think there would be any hope of fitting up the twin…
@all:
I really want to like electric cars, I do. 100 mi range on a (optimistically) 4 hour charge seems about par for the course. Battery exchange stations, as Ben mentioned, are a logistical nightmare. And a 20 min quick charge? How far does that get you?
Somebody was getting a head start on the COTD celebration.
@John Krewson: The ones of the red paint on my wife's Silver 330i, or the ones of her in tears when she saw what I did to her most prized possession?
I'm feeling like an idiot already for getting in a wreck on Monday. Now I'm feeling even more like an idiot for doing it a week early.
@pj134: Yeah, I asked for the entrance questionnaire but they were all out at the front desk. I guess I'll just wing it.
What would I say? I'd would say something snarky and uncomplimentary about CARB and why we can't have anything nice here. But it would come across as ignorant and ill informed, and then I'd just be one of the hundreds of trollish comments that get glazed over with rolled eyes.
@skaycog - Just do it!: They sky is the limit on my vast knowledge... and by 'sky' I mean search box and by 'my vast knowledge' I mean wikipedia.
@Mad_Science: My brother in law recently picked up an '07 GT500. To my surprise, he let me drive it. It was quite an experience but, and he'd agree with me on this, once is my limit.
