seriously? the majority of comments here is completely the opposite of what I expected.

Anyone else in RIFT beta? I'm kinda sad that it's going to end tomorrow morning, I was enjoying it. I wanted to get into the low level dungeon before it ended... not enough leveling time

@DerkaDerpa: I definitely agree. I thought linear was the perfect format for FFVII - Crisis Core.

@Ladi: There are a ton of sidequests in 13 acutally. Most of them are the same - hunt and kill this monster - but they are easily considered to be side-quests by nature.

@madcatz: ah, it's definitely a possibility that I'm not far enough into the game yet to where it truly "opens up", but yes I see where 7hrs vs 40hrs could make some people upset XD
