You obviously didn't get the whole Crunchpad becomes JooJoo thing with Techcrunch being left out: [en.wikipedia.org] . In fact, there IS NO CRUNCHPAD now, only a (very bad) JooJoo.
Well, I am not from the USA, but when I have a look at your cable prices and the miserable support, maybe US cable companies should be put out of business. ;-D
Yeah, please find me a SLIM and light 11" laptop with i5 processor and 64GB SSD for under 999$. Good luck with that.
How should cable providers stop you from APMing the computer screen to the TV? They don't own the TV, do they?
Tell that to the other companies which try to match the Macbook Air's 999$ price with "Ultrabook" products. Or to those which (at least in the beginning) have struggled (and/or failed) to create an iPad competitor under 499$.
Get an external hard drive and run TimeMachine URGENTLY!! Not only your photos are gone, when your Mac HD dies. And - oh wonder - you have an iPhoto backup on the backup as well.
Well, as a doctor, I can tell you, that an Apple is certainly healthier than an Ice Cream Sandwich.*
No RAM cannot be replaced by a SSD, as data from a swap file has to be loaded back into RAM to be accessed.
Use the SSD as system drive and normal HDs as data drives. There is no need for hybrid drives.
WTF are you talking about? There are no "rpm" in an SSD!!!
SSDs (and modern OSes) have wear leveling mechanisms which do all that is necessary to maximize the SSD lifespan automatically. So no need to "manually optimize" that.
And? Where is the problem? The Vertex 3 is still faster and who really is going to pay 1100$ for an SSD right now?
