I guess all the good names were taycan.
I guess all the good names were taycan.
Im not sure what this says about me, but apart from the 4Runner, this is the only new car I pine for these days. Even at 75k, bring it here VW (and by here I mean Canada).
As a previous owner who had a V50, I tend to agree. The V60 isn’t a bad car, but the rounded off corners and sloping roofline take away from trunk space and visibility, which was a huge selling point of the V50.
In high school I convinced my 17-year old friend that you had to be 18 to buy gas. Being over age myself, I agreed to buy it for him, but he would need to pay me $5 each time for the risk I was taking.
May not be exotic, but I see weird random old stuff like this in front of my house all the time.
I think I read somewhere that the combined trunk and frunk space of a Cayman was more than the truck of an Accord. I’m not sure where I read this and I’m not going to look too hard to find the source, because I want it to be true.
-former Cayman owner.
1) I’m relieved to see they toned down the spastic interior from the last generation.
I had this very same model/year of Cayman, and it’s still by far the best handling car I’ve ever driven. Once in a while it could’ve used more power, but I felt it was more than enough...especially with the NA engine behind you boosting the drama factor regardless of speed.
I look forward to the day when you can write a story about women drivers without it being another soapbox moment. If you want people to stop treating women drivers as some sort of outlier, stop writing articles that keep emphasizing it. The achievements are real, no need for the Jezebel snark.
Have always loved these. Nice euro design, small on the outside, huge inside, lots of glass to see out of, and drives pretty well.
One van I really wish MB would bring over is the Marco Polo. Then again Ive been hoping that VW brings over the California for many years now as well.
I hope they’ve fixed the rusting issues. I still see way too many Sprinters with the problem. They are like the Mazda of vans it seems.
I’ve always been a Porsche guy (have a 964 coincidentally)...but I’ll just never get the flatnose. It just looks...off. Even when official, it feels like something from a tuner.
I know it’s a been harped on many times, but if Alfa offered the 4c with a manual, they’d have much better uptake. They are a niche brand offering a a niche driver-focused car, trying to resurrect their reputation...yet they cut out a good chunk of their audience.
Back in the old country, there’s still a healthy market for seat belt buckles (and just the buckles) that you can clip in so your car won’t make the annoying buzzing sound as you drive without your belt. For some, I guess this is still really important.
If only everyone had a Porsche under the Christmas Tree this year.
Unfortunately just didn’t have them on those wheels at the time. Definitely looks off.
This is a great example why I’ve pretty much always hated George Barris and the whole “custom car” thing. Everything is just so cheesy and over the top.
I’d much rather have something more practically proportioned like this than the somewhat pointless Microbus. Boxes are best.
