Buying a newer Cayman instead of a 993, when a 993 was still able to be had for $30k, because I was worried about maintenance costs.

Definitely not a hard and fast rule, as that one does sound pretty good (at least on the Youtubes). Beautiful car too. I just think in general Turbos don’t sound that great compared to an NA engine.

Compared to the old air-cooled engines, they’re both somewhat underwhelming (and I say that as someone who has owned both types).

Hey at least it’s a manual! Heels and toe?

NA also lost because Todd Mclellan kept force-feeding us the McDavid-Matthews line when it was the Gaudreau/MacKinnon/Hopkins line that was the real driver of play. Having them out during the entire 5-3 PP was a lowpoint.

I believe that should be Randy Newman, not Gary.

Still prefer the regular V90 over this.

Beautiful car, but that noise is like emphysema on wheels.

I should be happy with just a 964, but I still pine and yearn for a 928 addition one day. They qualify as family cars, right?

Always loved the 993, but Im just happy I managed to sneak in a 964 before they ballooned in price too.

I’m still convinced that whoever designed the back of the Audi A7 was inspired by the Skoda Rapid.

Kaylor? Is that a name now?

This man needs a Volvo. I’m thinking Xc70, Xc90 or probably upcoming v90. Scandinavian design. Best seats in the business. Nice and boxy so you can see out of it. Nice powerful engine (especially the now sadly discontinued 6-cylinder).

Every NY-area airport will have delays, but in my experience the worst ones were always at JFK, followed by EWR (although my biggest gripe there is the crazy long security lines). Whenever Ive had delays at LGA at least I could wait in the terminal, where at JFK I’ve more than once spent 2-3 hours inside of a plane.

I love small airports. LGA might be ugly as a derelict bus terminal, but it’s always been my favorite NY airport because it’s small and quick to get in and out of (and close to the city). JFK and Newark maybe shinier, but you’re inevitably going to be delayed...in JFK’s case often while you’re sitting on the tarmac.

I’m a little surprised that Liberty managed to stay right side up. My sister in law has one of those, and that thing feels like it’s going to do a barrel roll on every gentle turn, never mind during an emergency maneuver. Horrible horrible car....but kudos to the driver.

They also make nice campers. Here’s a little cutie pie I saw in Iceland.

Volvo design, Honda everything else? Sounds good to me.

About 5 years ago, with about a 30k budget, I had the chance to buy a really nice 993, or a gently used Cayman. I went with the Cayman because it was newer and I was a little afraid of the mystery box of a 20 year old 911.

Oh nice, it has rack and peanut steering.
