I think you got all of them right.....except for #1. I lived in Williamsburg (ie, the mecca of hipsterism) for a decade and I never saw one hipster drive a Saab....never mind the cabriolet. It's a little too yuppie for your average hipster...unless that hipster's parents have a beach house in the Hamptons.

Call me a relic, but I think these cars still had that presence and class that the current jags just don't have. I loved its british snootiness. The new ones don't feel anywhere as special....even if they are much better cars.

Lord knows Ive tried, but I just don't get the aesthetics of this car. It just looks hideous to me....especially compared to the F1. The burnt copper paint that reminds me of a Pontiac Sunfire sure isn't helping.

As a current, and possibly future, Volvo owner...I have to ask them to keep it as clean and Scandinavian as possible. No trendy styling for the sake of styling, but an emphasis on elegant ergonomics and timelessness. That's what I loved about the old iconic Volvos, and thats why I like my V50...it has a design that

Probably said the same thing about automatic transmissions at some point.

Good choice...love this song. M83 in general is great music to work to.

Since when do manufacturers care about rearward visibility? What is this, the 80s?

Love this car...the yellow is magnificent. As a totally biased 07 Cayman owner, I do still prefer the simpler lines of the previous generation...plus there's no ugly cutline right in the middle of those glorious hips. I do think the rear lights look a lot better on this new one though, and I'm sure the driving

I don't care if it's 80's cheeseball... the Testarossa is what made me fall in love with Ferrari as a kid.

The Focus sedan is especially comical from the back with it's tall and skinny proportions.

Because while the hatchback evokes things like "economy, practically, brain capacity", a sedan will fool everyone into visions of "luxury and stateliness". No where is that more true than in the Focus Sedan. I mean it's pretty much an S-Class!

There's still something about the late 80s/early 90s Mercedes wagons that get my engine revving...such classic lines. They look like they were chiseled from one piece of granite. Truly the peak of Mercedes...which has been on a downhill slide every since.

Oh look, another ridiculous pillar that nullifies any sort of rearward visibility. And the roof swoops downward too, negating even more visibility and space. And why exactly?

Sounds like a great time. I was planning to finally make it out this year, as my trip to Hungary was at the perfect time. However as soon as I saw the 39c forecast, I decided that keeping cool in Balaton was a better idea than frying on tarmac. I regret nothing!

Hmmm closed? You get these vignettes at pretty much any and every gas station. I just drove into Austria and entered in one of the more remote parts of the country on a Sunday, and it was pretty easy to get. Vignettes are all over Europe.. something an editor of a car mag should probably know about from past

I think you're looking for the Worlds Best Public Transit Systems article.

It would be one hell of ride. I was down by the river banks yesterday and the river was flowing extremely fast. The random trees and crap being washed away in the mix probably also wouldn't help the atmosphere.

This needs to be pushed over to the badge on the left.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with road surface, and everything to do with Mazda's crappy rust proofing.

Are you suggesting a British car over an Italian because of reliability? The Brit will fail too, just in a completely different, if not as dramatic, fashion.
