Former Saab driver here...

Normally I don't care what people enjoy, but Star Wars is always showed in my face. It's like the plague....I do my best to avoid it, but it always seems to find it's way to ruin things.

I was here a few months ago, it's pretty fantastic, and should not be missed by anyone in the area. It's a fairly quick tour too, so you dont need more than an hour.

god, I'm probably the only one on Earth, but I can't stand Stars Wars and it's fans who have an endless need to insert it into every facet of life.

The good part about owning a car in NY is that you can get the hell out of it on weekends and re-engergize. You can be on the beach or in the middle of the forest in a little over an hour (well maybe not at 6pm on a Friday). It's actually kind of fantastic.... my car years in NY made life a lot nicer.

Great article....

I think this shows me how much details matter. Even with the same proportions, the F1 is a classic, while the P1 is a generous slice of Meh.

Is it coming in a manual?

As a Canadian living in the US, I'm not surprised they stick to the country. Whenever I mention I'm from Calgary, half the time the question is "Is that by Toronto?".

I don't mind admitting I'm a Cayman owner who bought one ( a USED one even!) because I couldn't afford a 911 (although the 911 I want is a 993 anyway). That's ok though, I consider myself lucky enough to get into any P-car, no matter what it supposedly says about me. Most of the new 911 owners seem like image-driven

I'd rather have a Tsuru.

What model Cadillac was it? Didn't think any of them cost that much.

Unfortunately it affects the 3 as well (although maybe not as much as the Protege 5). Google "Mazda 3 rust" and you'll find plenty of forum discussion on the topic. Mazda Canada had to extended it's rust corrosion warranty because of so many complaints.

Then maybe you don't see enough of them around. Here, in Mazda-happy Canada, the Protege 5 (and also the 3 in a lot of cases now) is rusting away like hell. Always in the same spots too....the rear wheel well, and the liftgate around the logo. I bet that's where your rust is too. That's where mine is rusting and 90%

Looks great. I'm sure it drives great. But what about rust? Just like VW with their reliability issues, Mazda never seems to directly address the one thing that is their achilles heel.

We're not worthy of Alfa's. They are just too beautiful. We'd probably jack it up and chrome grille the crap out of it.

I'd like to see Skoda make a comeback. Handsome classic styling, cheaper than their VW counterpart, and more reliable too? Yes please. A Roomster would make a great city car.

The reason the cars look good in terms of proportions and the other things not so much....is because most of the cars are either photoshopped or traced.

Yep. While I was firmly in the cops corner before, after hearing this, it's clear that he's not any better of a human being than the trust fund baby.

I'm pretty sure that hipster and millennial are not the same thing, but you're absolutely right in saying that that people who they seem to be marketing this car towards with this tour are exactly the type of people who don't give a crap about cars. People who frequent Pete's Candy Store (used to live 2 blocks away)
