Look, we created a different version, that is, well, it’s just the regular version, plus the DLC. But it’s different. I mean, it’s exactly the same in all ways, but we’re SAYING it’s different, ergo if you spent $100 on the game, haha, sucks to be you, and teaches YOU to buy our games in the first year. You should

The ultimate edition is the same game.  Giving it a different SKU doesn’t make it a different game.  Especially not different than the digital deluxe edition that also came with the DLC.

Hard agree as well. Thank god for latest tab. This new look is absolutely horrendous.

It's a blog. The vast majority of people want it in chronological order, everything else is in the way. And it actually matters, because the autoplaying, centered, scrolling video that pops up in front of the articles on mobile... Make mobile completely unusable.

hard agree. It’s difficult to even look at

It’s fucking awful!! but thank god for that latest tab!

It’s curious to me that after so many generations of gaming consoles that this needs to be clarified.  That being said, perhaps we shouldn’t be expecting older controllers to be incompatible with newer systems when they are functionally darn-near identical.  Now I’ll need to buy another five special edition

I just keep telling my wife that it's on it's death bed and that's why we need a PS5. Seems to be working out.

For the last freakintime: That thing you keep calling your PS4 is your microwave.

Yeah, at this point it was a fun oddity for me to mess around with for a while. If it comes together as a real game at some point, awesome, if not, oh well.

I do really feel bad for the people who spent thousands of dollars on ships, but I mean, I also think that was kind of a dumb move so.

If you don’t count the kickstarter that kickstarted the development as development time then.....what the hell counts as development? They had already built a prototype and were starting on development of the game. The fact that they continued to bloat their game during the development time doesn’t mean that it

The Last of Us Part I and II came out in the timespan Star Citizen was since announced.

More like a roadmap to a roadmap for the roadmap.

Alex Trebek: “Star Citizen, Half-Life 3, Winds of Winter, Doors of Stone, functional American politics.”

Did they just... roadmap their roadmap?

I get it. I dont think you get it.

Again, I repeat, “you”, a hypothetical non-descript generalized consumer, cannot have it both ways. Either you want a console that plays “the coolest looking new games” or you do not. You cannot simultaneously demand wildly huge improvements over a previous generation while also demanding to have it at an infeasible

As revealed in March, Sony is targeting the top 100 most-played PS4 games, ranked by playtime, for backwards compatibility, but the PS4’s catalog is more than 4,000 titles deep. According to Mark Cerny, the console’s lead architect, due to some technical restrictions, each game has to be hand-tested for PS5

Look, I still don’t see how $599 was some kind of “insane” asking price. You can’t demand companies keep pushing hardware limits, giving you bleeding edge tech with unlimited teraflops and then also demand they do it for “As Seen On TV” prices.
