On one hand, Ugh, Epic and Fortnite.
On the other. Man that’s cool. Would be amazing to see world-altering events like this in say...an MMO.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever accidentally done in a video game?

Isn’t this more of a Brazilian Government problem than a Nintendo problem.

Meanwhile at Nintendo: «Unleash the dogs of law

“Weeks of Nothing”

...recent clues have players hopeful the game’s next phase is imminent.

What do you think the National Guard is?

Not gonna lie. I've been saving this puppy for a Jalopnik Storm Area 51 post. My time has finally come.

I feel bad for the whores at the visitor station.  Do you staff up or leave staffing as-is for invasion day?

Only 6? I think you underestimate the stupidity of people. I would bet there are at least 6 people trying to access the area daily.

My favorite conspiracy theory is that the government itself spread the alien rumors because anyone who started questioning the weird planes that were actually being tested at Area 51 would be immediately dismissed as whackjobs.

I mean...something will happen right? We’re talking about a country where a guy with a rifle entered a pizza and ping pong parlor to free child sex slaves based on some 4chan shit.

I would wager that royalties and residuals for licensed music is MUCH higher than $20k, and so it’s 100% saving them money on these 10 songs.

I wonder if they are truly doing this out of their own heart or to save money on the project. I don’t know how much companies spend for original music on open world games, but it feels like it would be more than $20,000.

The problem is that there’s no guarantee they’ll choose your song. It’s in the name, Spec[ulative] Work - companies hold “contests” where they basically get thousands of hopeful young artists to spend their own time and money making content, on the off-chance that they get chosen. The company gets thousands of “free

Isnt it safe to say that ubisoft, one of the largest devs in the world with thousands of people working on their games, arent doing this to save a buck? I really cant fathom how this is exploitative, especiallty when the modding community has existed as long as games have. Obviously its a promotional ploy, but I think

I get it, smoking is bad, quit myself years ago, but this is a bit ridiculous, I mean you’re chainsaw-ing people to death in this game and blasting them with guns. Devs are free to do what they want but I can’t help but find it a bit ludicrous.

I guess the criminalization of blackness is now complete; and every black male is a criminal, every white man a saint.
