Switch needs to do better than the Wii U; the successor to the 3DS needs to do as well as the 3DS.
I guess whenever I hear the term “Console power in a portable form”, I can’t help but think of the Vita, which failed to reach mass market success (as the 3DS). However, I suppose the Vita had more issues than finding devs to make games for the device (death by a thousand cuts).
I see what you’re saying about not…
Yea, that’s one of the problems I find with the marketing. They want to go broad and get both console and handheld players to buy this, but Nintendo hasn’t shown the strengths of either very well to convince them. That’s why I think pitching the console as a successor to the 3DS that can be a home console would have…
Personally, I want to be disappointed in the Switch, but it has just too much potential as a handheld for me to care. I would have preferred if Nintendo pitched the console as a handheld first and console second, but that would eat into its 3DS sales. So we’ll see where the console ends up landing this year and next.
They have yet to open preorders for the Neon Switch but the grey version is sold out.
Just snagged one on Best Buy! Thanks!

I don’t see Metroid on that list. Void.
Are preorders expected to go live on Amazon after the show?
I wanted to take a break this year and save some cash, but damn, there’s a ton of good talks already cropping up. Bleh.
Would love to see a talk on the tech behind this.
There’s still something not sitting right with the game for me. Not sure if its the marketing, the lack of prolonged gameplay or more but it just doesn’t feel like a Day 1 buy for me.
I agree.
I wholly disagree about the battle system. I think FFXV’s battle system is really, really fun just not punishing enough (IMO) which makes it feels clumsy. You can never “die”, since the game gives you PLENTY of time to pull out one of your 99 Phoenix Downs to heal Noctis.
Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the film, I really wouldn’t mind seeing a director’s cut closer to what Gareth had originally for the end. All for that glorious AT-AT shot of Jyn and crew running towards it on the beach.
Are Director’s Cuts even common anymore?
Huh. I thought it was an incredibly forgettable boss fight. Probably because I was over-leveled for the campaign. Didn’t start Chapter 2 or 3 until I was around Level 70.
I should start a new game where I enjoy the campaign without overleveling. Would give me a new perspective on the mechanics.
...Another is that they’re only counting trailers for games that actually came out in 2016, not those whose trailers turned up this year but won’t be out until 2017 or beyond...

Press the bottom ‘Play’ button to begin. It’s pretty wild and clearly on purpose by Kojima.
This is fucking fantastic. Team Skull is easily my favorite baddies of all Pokemon games. Their personality is amazing, especially their hand movements and their witty dialogue throughout the game.
...it looks at the data from 27,967 PvE players and 16,422 PvE players in the game
