The LS is remarkable small for what it is. It's the same size block and heads as the rest of the LS family. It's an honest to god 4.4in bore center small block. Not the 4.84in big block.

You can get a 911 with AWD, but you knew that. You're right it is 100% about brand perception AS WELL AS performance, refinement. No-one over 40 wants a GTR. Well, I have an VERY OLD, but also two 911s ;-)
