I was about to say, I think it was 24 hours after release we had a mod that fixed 90% of the minor bugs and 3 of the really big ones, like not using 64 bit processing.

I’m actually on the verge of returning my Steam copy, tbh. After playing the Bayonetta port that was pretty great, I was really stoked to buy this. But the lack of a dedicated dodge button for keyboard (even though controllers have one, AND the Bayonetta port has one) is super frustrating to me. Plus all the bugs. I…
If a mod doesn’t do what you want it to do, don’t use that mod, use a different one or make your own. A modder doesn’t owe a user anything, end of story.
And EA’s pattern of buying studios, hamstringing them, and then putting them out to pasture when they fail to spin what little straw they are given into ALL OF THE GOLD continues.
I just wish you could actually bind the evade key on PC Keyboard/Mouse. You can only evade via double-tap direction, not dedicated Evade key to rebind. They recently ported Bayonetta and IT got a dedicated Evade Key, why not Nier?
Drack just looks placerholder-ey, like a recolored Wrex.
I know.
I don’t think he missed the mark at all. He told the guy to use this time and money to discover what he enjoys doing and being in a healthy manner, in order to find friend and and meet people. The thing is, doing things like that is how someone can figure out who they are and have more confidence in that.
Well, in the absence of the Oxford comma in this case, the headline still reads just fine, the nice story about Amy Schumer is in fact about the bathroom stop and $2,000 good deed. In fact, the line kinda works worse as a list, implying the three things aren’t connected, when in fact the latter two are the summation…
I wouldn’t mind it if it was an option, like, you could play a new character, and the Inquisitor is your boss, or you could choose to still be the Inquisitor, with a massive combat handicap, but moderate benefit of higher starting level/character import.
Trespasser was amazeballs, but it makes it almost worse for me as a solasmancer, like, no you don’t get to fade out and make me play a new protagonist next, my Dalish Inquisitor is NOT ready to retire on this fight.
I really kinda hope we have the option to play the Inquisitor again, lost arm and all, my Solasmancer Lavellan needs some fucking closure, and sending some new kid to do it is not going to cut it.
Must resist urge to punch arrogant hypocritical heartbreaker in the face.
It’s weird because they started out pretty good at subverting the “chosen one.” With everyone, including/especially your team, and Addison, basically blowing you off for being the reason you ever father, the REAL pathfinder, is dead, and inheriting the role via nepotism and by being a dumb kid.
I think a bit of the thing that keeps me from being head over heels in the game is the lack of galactic mystery. The Milky Way was OLD, with ancient mysteries to uncover. Heleus and it’s mysteries are comparatively young, the Remnant tech you find is a mere 400 years old, the scourge only appeared in the last 600…
Is it kinda weird that I don’t even really care about the animation glitches (except for Drack’s right eye clipping through his eyelid all the time) and really just love having a car and planet to drive around again?
Cora changed a lot.
And i get that, but I still feel it breaks a bit of narrative immersion (lol I know laugh at me all you want). It just feels silly to fly to space just to check my email. I’d be fine with a prerendered cinematic of walking up/down the ramp and closing/opening the ramp that took the same amount of time to allow for…
Right? I hate not being able to get on the ship without flying into space.
Did they fix Drack’s right eyeball clipping through his eyelid 70% of the time? Because, yikes.
