Not all opinions are created equal. Just because it's an opinion does not automatically mean it deserves respect.

No one's saying she shouldn't have an opinion. But she needs to deal with the repercussions of her opinions. She (or her parents) should've known better. They didn't. They have to deal with that.

That's freedom of speech. She chose to wear a political shirt. She chose to receive such attention.

You have to deal with the potential repercussions of your free speech when you make a choice like this. Just because she's a minor does not make her exempt from such repercussions.

More often than not, bullying is a result of something the person has no control over. Oh, you're gay? Let's pick on you. Oh, you're short? Let's pick on you. Et cetera.

The parties have changed. No one would argue that the Republicans are liberal like they were in the 1860s.
