Thing is Bethesda does suck. They ruined Fallout with 4, and made things even worse with 76 or whatever this disaster is called. They dumbed down the TES series with Skyrim, and dumbed it down even more with that online game that’s not an MMO. They forced paid modding when everyone was against it, fucking up the

I have admittedly learned a lot from this article about game engines so thank you for your reporting on the subject. I just think there’s a degree of misdirected management on their end if they don’t think people will have an issue with the next elder scrolls game playing like oblivion, I felt the jump from Morrowind

While I highly appreciate your reporting and every point you make in this article is sound, that doesn’t change the fact that every Bethesda game since oblivion looks and feels like oblivion and those of us who played oblivion to the ground in 2008 are getting tired of playing oblivion for the nth time in 2018.

Same. Like this was my most anticipated game since I first got a NES. And yeah, I haven’t touched it since Monday because it’s so bad.

I don’t even think that’s sarcastic.

Or allow me to search an entire dresser? I’m sorry, but the control issue is game breaking.

I’ve been following the progress loosely, since following something like a video game closely is like watching a pot of water boil for X years. Their recent tech improvements are pretty amazing... but the Lorville livestreams they showed are much more impressive than this trailer. I guess that wasn’t covered. Easier

“Obviously, though, this serves as yet another head-rattling knock against Valve’s decision to open Steam’s floodgates wider than ever.” On the contrary, the flood of reviews warning users about the potential malware and the resulting articles show that valve is right to let users identify these issues and make

My game can be judged as a shovelware or garbage by people that don’t like it, this is the main issue.
What Valve decided is the best thing for them obviously but also for us, as long as they give proper tool and filter and good visibility for best games.

As usual journalist “”gamer”” are trying to decide what we should buy or not depending on their copy/pasted ideology...

I’m young game developer, I’m living by creating porn game actually because it’s the only way to enter in gaming dev/design and to make a living by your own.
I learned all by myself, and I have 500+

Would a game like Postal 2 fit within your line? A game that many found humorous, and equally many found distasteful and offensive. Point is, your views and lines are different than other people’s. I honestly think that this is better for the future of Steam, because many games like the before mentioned school shooter

This is a good thing. Why would any one want Valve to be the arbiter of what is decent. Just don’t interact with the stuff you don’t want to. I’m sure their personal filter stuff will be just fine.

The point is where do you draw the line? Should they cater to your line? Or mine?

Why are you against this? Why do you like censorship so much?

Good move, Valve. A platform should be an agnostic canvas for artists, not a playing field for corporations to push their morals on others.

Your criticisms area a bit disingenuous.

Strange, I would think the opposite: Fortnite for example is a more polished product that attracts flocks of defeners, like Apple, whereas PUBG was an early and dominant favorite that had much of its market share taken away, like Blackberry.

The building element is the reason I don’t like Fortnite.

I’m surprised Diablo even got a poster
