It worked for me. With everything max at 1080p, except nvidia fog, I am getting FPS from 70 to 80 on my GTX 970. They did a solid job, although there are still some issues remain with mechanical HDD streaming, I see my HDD spike when I traverse around and can cause slight stutter. But no where near as abysmal as…
Wow, the game looks gorgeous. And steam users with seasoned experience in Point and Click Adventure games are praising it nonstop.
I can’t buy it too.
So no region locks?
I can live with that.
Games are never finished, the fact is Early Access shaped the game. The game was possible due to constant communication between the players and the developers.
The original Far Cry, Crysis (gameplay was awesome too). MGS 4 forced me to sell my 360 and get a PS3, it looked so so good and still does.
Divinity Original Sin devs would disgree with you. http://www.usgamer.net/articles/divin…
This is where Steam Broadcast excels.
The reason I don’t use Twitch at all is because it simply does not work for me. I can stream gameplay well, but I when I try to view streams, it buffers every 3 seconds, making it unviewable. I contacted Twitch multiple times but they are helpless, they said to use the wrench icon whenever I have issues .
The ONLY reason they gave us a worthless update is because Mad Max is few weeks away. They are trying to restore faith in the consumers by giving us a worthless update which doesn’t even move the situation from square one. Again, the power is in your hands, vote with your wallets. Even if you want to buy the game,…
Game Engine development for any game happens long before game is in development.
Yep, CI is not having to set up any release dates because they are not publicly traded company. The only investors they need to keep happy is us, the gamers, and we want the best damn game they can make.
The goals were set in stone long ago when the features list was closed off. Closing off additional goals does not mean you can't use extra funding to enhance and raise the quality of those set goals.
I am sorry, it looks like you have literally have no clue about the game. The funding for the game reached ages ago, and people are not forced to fund anymore. It is their way of getting the game faster as it is being made and putting down the money on ships as a pledge of good faith, not for access.
Long overdue? By November they will reach 2 years of development. Games take time, big and ambitious games take more. Rockstar takes 5 years on average to make their games, you don’t see people complaining. Just be glad that Cloud Imperium are so transparent with the development instead of keeping it under wraps.
Features have been locked down ages ago, they don’t have stretch goals or anything like that for ages now.
Playing Original Sin, I was met with a shellshock. I realized just how retarded and brain damaged developers think their player base really is. The game hardly held hands, and discovering the game mechanics yourself was part of the game itself.
I have no problems funding quality games. I absolutely loved the original. If there was a publisher than the game would have been entirely different, in a bad way of course.
